Direct Recruitment (From the candidates belonging to the respective reservation communities mentioned above only).
Age Limit
18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. 18-45. (For SCCC candidates who have converted from Scheduled Caste from after attaining adulthood and their children, candidates should be born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2004, both dates included). Note: Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (Fifty) years.
Qualifications
1) Pass in SSLC or equivalent examination. OR A Pass in Pre-degree examination or any other University recognized equivalent thereto. OR A Pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination, Government of Kerala or equivalent. 2) A Pass in TTC (Kannada) Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR Degree in any subject from any of the Universities in Kerala or recognized by the Universities in Kerala with B.Ed/BT/LT (Kannada). 3) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by Government of Kerala. Exemption: 1. Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET qualification. 2. CTET qualification can be accepted instead of KTET Category I, II, III & IV as per government orders.
Notes
(i) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. (ii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for Kasargod district in response to this notification. (iii) The selection pursuant to this notification will be subject to the rules framed under G.O.(MS) No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971.
