18 - 31. Candidates should be born between 02.01.1990 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included).
Qualifications
(1) Must have passed Plus Two or its equivalent examination. (2) Must possess a current valid Driving License of Heavy Passenger Vehicle or Heavy Goods Vehicle with endorsement and badge. (3) Must have a height of not less than 160 cm (without shoes), weight not less than 48 kg, chest measurement not less than 76 cm, and chest expansion not less than 5 cm. Desirable: Diploma in Computer Application.
Notes
1. Women and differently-abled persons are not eligible to apply for this post. 2. Candidates must pass the physical efficiency test. They must qualify in at least 5 out of the 8 items specified. 3. Candidates must possess the required vision standards without glasses. 4. A medical certificate from a Medical Officer not below the rank of a Second Grade Civil Surgeon is required. 5. A practical test will be conducted to prove driving proficiency. 6. Preference will be given to Home Guards who have completed 3 years of service and successfully completed fire fighting training. 7. Probation: 2 years within a period of 3 years of duty. 8. Training: 4 months at State Fire Services Training School followed by an examination. 9. Bond: A bond to serve in the Fire Services for at least 5 years must be executed at the time of appointment. 10. Candidates must submit confirmation for the examination through their One Time Registration profile. 11. Applications from candidates not belonging to SC/ST will be rejected.
