18-31 Only Candidates born between 02.01.1990 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. No other age relaxation will be allowed.

1 Must have passed Plus two or its equivalent Examination 2 Must possess a valid Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving heavy goods vehicles or heavy passenger vehicles with badge. 3 Must not be less than 160cms in height (without foot wear). Must not be less than 48kgms in weight and must not be less than 76cms round the chest with a minimum expansion of not less than 5cms. Preferential :- Diploma in Computer Application

Note:- The above Vacancy is now in existence. The ranked list of candidates finalized by the commission in pursuance of this notification shall cease to be in force after one year from the date of finalization of the ranked list (as per notification AV(2)2376/14/GW dated 04.04.2016. Extra ordinary Gazette dated 15.04.2016.) Recruitment will be made for the above vacancy and also for the vacancies reported for Special Recruitment from Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe during the pendency of the list. Candidates against vacancies exclusively reported for Scheduled Tribes will also be advised from this list and only in the absence of Scheduled Tribe candidates in this list that fresh notification for Scheduled Tribes for vacancies reserved exclusively for them will be issued. Note:- Applications received from candidates other than Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates will be rejected. Individual communications regarding the rejection of their applications for the above reason will not be issued. Note :- 1 Women candidates and physically handicapped persons are not eligible to apply for the post. 2 Physical efficiency test will be Conducted by the Commission to assess the physical standards and suitability of the candidates for the arduous nature of work. Must qualify in at least 5 out of the 8 items of physical efficiency test showing the minimum standards of efficiency noted against each item (Physical measurements of Candidates will be taken before the commencement of the physical efficiency test). Candidates with required physical measurement alone will be admitted for the physical efficiency test. Sl. Visual Standards Right Eye Left Eye (a) Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen 6/6 Snellen Near Vision 0.5 Snellen 0.5 Snellen (b) Field of vision Full Full 4 Candidates should produce Medical Certificate issued by a Medical Officer not below the rank of a Civil Surgeon Gr.II as to their physique, fitness, capacity for rough outdoor work and also of the Visual Standards, if they satisfy the physical measurements and come out successful in the physical efficiency test.The proficiency in driving will be tested by a practical test conducted by the Commission. Preferential :- Other conditions being equal, the Home Guard Volunteers who have completed a term of 3 years in that organization and who have satisfactorily undergone training in Fire Fighting during the period of tenure, will be treated as having preferential qualification for direct recruitment to the post. Probation:- Every person appointed to the post shall from the date on which he joins duty, after he completes the training and examination will be on probation for a total period of two years on duty, within a continuous period of three years. Training :- Selected candidates should undergo a course of training for a period of 4 months in the State Fire Service Training School and pass the examination in the subject prescribed for the course. Note :- A Written and Practical Test will be conducted at the close of training. Those who fail to qualifiy themselves at the test, will have their training extended for a period of one month at the end of which, they will be tested again in the subjects in which they have failed. Those who fail to qualify themselves in the re-test will be discharged from service. Bond :- Every person appointed to the post shall execute a bond intending to serve the force for a period of not less than 5 years and to pay to Government a sum of Rs. 2,700/- in case of failure to serve in the force for the said period. Note : 1.Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable 2. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification concerned. 3. If the caste of candidates is wrongly mentioned in their SSLC book, they should claim their original caste in their applications and should produce Community Certificate issued from concerned revenue authority and the Gazette Notification for the same at the time of certificate verification.
