18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. Note: For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this Notification.

(1) General A Pass in Pre-Degree or Higher Secondary Course (+2) (2) Technical A Pass in T.B. Health Visitors Course conducted by the T.B Association of India, New Delhi or any other equivalent qualification recognized by Government of Kerala. Note :- (i) In the absence of persons with Technical Qualification those with HSS certificates (in science subjects) will be selected and they will be given 6 months training in the State T.B Centre, Thiruvananthapuram. The period of training will not count for probation or increment. But such candidates will have to execute a bond to serve the department for 10 years as Treatment Organizer for Tuberculosis Programme and the stipend for 6 months ie, ₹ 2480/-. The amount of bonded obligation is ₹ 2480/- together with a sum of ₹ 1240/- as liquidated damages. (ii) Probation:- Every person appointed to the post shall from the date on which he/she joins duty be on probation for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Note :- (i) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable for selection to this post. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government orders during verification to prove that the qualification claimed is equivalent to the prescribed qualification for the post.

(i) Separate Ranked List will be prepared for the above Districts in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked list thus prepared and published by the Commission, shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year, subject to the condition that the said Ranked list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new Ranked list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised for appointment against the aforesaid vacancies and also against the vacancies, if any, reported during the currency of the Ranked list. In case no candidate is advised from the ranked list till the expiry of the period of three years, the duration of the ranked list shall be extended for a further period of one year or till at least one candidate is advised from the Ranked list whichever is earlier. (ii) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a Revenue District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue District from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O(MS) No.4/61/PD, dated 2.1.1961. Candidates already in Government Service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher /lower posts when notified. (iii) Candidates should submit application for this post to any one of the above districts,where the vacancy is existing and should note the name of that District against the relevant column of the Online Application. Applications should not be submitted to more than one district in response to this notification. If applications are submitted contrary to the above direction, and if/she is selected his/her name will be removed from the Ranked List and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. (iv) In case of change in caste/community noted in the SSLC Book, candidates must claim their original caste/community in the application and shall produce Community Certificate / Non Creamy Layer Certificate as the case may be issued by the Revenue authorities and the original Gazette Notification publishing the change of caste/community at the time of OTR verification for selection to the above post. (v) If written/OMR/Online Test is conducted as part of this selection, candidate shall submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration Profile. Such candidate alone can generate and download the admission tickets in the last 15 days till the date of test. The application of candidates who do not submit confirmation within the stipulated period will be rejected absolutely. The periods regarding the submission of confirmation and the availability of admission tickets will be published in the Examination calendar itself. Information in this regard will be given to the candidates in their respective profiles and in the mobile phone number registered in it. Candidates who have downloaded the Admission Ticket alone will be permitted to attend the examination. (vi) Appropriate disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of the KPSC Rules of Procedure,1976 shall be initiated against those candidates who submit application with bogus claims of qualification regarding education, experience etc. and submit confirmation for writing the examination, irrespective of whether they are present or absent for the examination. (vii) Candidates who have Aadhar Card should add Aadhar Card as ID proof in their profile.
