18-39, Candidates born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other Backward communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation [including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General Conditions]. Note:- 1) For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years of age, please see para 2 of general condition under Part II of this notification.

(i) A pass in SSLC or equivalent examination (ii) Must possess a current HPV/HTV Driving License (iii) Possession of License for driving Motor Cycle shall be a desirable qualification Note: Proficiency in driving – Medium/Heavy Goods /Passenger Motor Vehicles will have to be proved through a practical test including 'T' Test and Road Test conducted by P.S.C during the course of selction only those who have passed 'T' Test are eligible for Road Test. Note: i) Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. ii)Those who claim equivalent qualification shall produce the respective Government Order to prove the claim at the time of One Time Verification or as required by the Commission. iii)Candidate should possess current valid Driving License and Badge throughout all the stages of selection process.ie, on the last date of receipt of application. OMR Test/Online Test, Practical Test and Interview (iv) Medical Fitness:- (a) Ear - Hearing should be perfect. (b) Eye - Distant vision : 6/6 Snellen, Near vision : 0.5 snellen, Colour Vision : Normal, Night blindness : Nil (c) Muscles and joints - No paralysis and all joints must be capable of free movement. (d) Nervous System - Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases.

(1) Differently abled candidates are not eligible to apply for the post. (2) Candidates should furnish the full details regarding the Driving Licence and experience in driving in the relevant column (qualifications) of the application form. (3) Candidates called for the practical test will have to produce Medical certificate in the prescribed form in original containing all relevant details as required in para 7 (iv) above (except iv b) from a Medical Officer not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon. A Medical Certificate regarding eye sight as per Para 7 (iv) (b) from an Ophthalmologist in Government Service also will have to be produced. (Form of Medical certificate is appended below of this Notification). (4) Candidate should possess current valid Driving Licence through out all the stages of selection process i.e on the last date of receipt of application, OMR Test/Online Test, Practical Test and interview. (5) Candidates from the ranked list prepared in response to this notification will be advised for appointment as per turn against Headquarters vacancy also. Probation:- Every person appointed to the post shall, from the date on which he joins duty be on probation for a total period of 2 years on duty within continuous period of three years
