Chemical Inspector/Technical Assistant (Chemical)

23-36. Candidates should be born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included). Usual relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST and other backward communities will be applicable (Refer to Part-2 of the General Conditions).

1. Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology from a recognized university with not less than 55% marks. 2. Not less than 2 (two) years of experience in supervisory capacity in a Chemical Industry or Laboratory run by the State Government, Central Government, or any Quasi-Government Public Sector Undertaking (Experience must be acquired after obtaining the qualification).

Training: Candidates appointed to this post must undergo in-service training for a minimum of 6 (six) months from the date of joining. The in-service training period will be counted for probation and increment. 1) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. 2) Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce the Government Order proving the equivalency at the time of certificate verification. 3) If there is a difference in caste/community claimed in the application and the SSLC book, a non-creamy layer/caste certificate along with a gazette notification regarding the name change must be produced at the time of certificate verification. 4) Experience certificate must be obtained in the prescribed format and uploaded. The certificate must contain details like certificate number, date, name of the post, period, name of the issuing authority, and name of the institution. If the certificate is not available due to pandemic restrictions, a self-declaration can be uploaded, but the original certificate must be produced when required by the Commission. 5) Probation: Every person appointed to this post shall be on probation for a period of 2 years within a continuous period of 3 years from the date of joining. 6) Candidates must keep a soft copy/printout of the online application for future use. 7) Any false claim regarding qualification or experience will lead to rejection of the application and disciplinary action as per KPSC Rules of Procedure, Rule 22. 8) Candidates having Aadhaar card must provide it as identity proof in their profile.
