Age Limit
23-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities (for other conditions regarding age relaxations please see Para 2 of the General Conditions.)
Qualifications
1. Must possess MBBS degree from a recognized university with one year house surgency. 2. Registration under Part A of the Kerala Medical Council. Preferential Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Health. (GO(P) No: 24/96/LBR & REH dt 22.02.1996)
Notes
1. Rule 10 a(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. 2. In addition to the qualifications mentioned above, qualifications notified as equivalent to the prescribed qualification by way of executive orders or standing orders of the Government, as well as higher qualification which presuppose the basic qualifications prescribed for the post, shall be acceptable. Government Orders regarding equivalent qualifications / higher qualifications shall be produced by the candidate as and when called for by the Commission. 3. In the case of difference in original Caste/Community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a Gazette notification in this regard, along with Non Creamy Layer Certificate / Community Certificate, at the time of certificate verification. 4 The Degrees/Diplomas awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an act passed by Parliament/State Legislative Assembly in accordance with the conditions laid down in G.O (M.S) No.526/PD dated 17.07.1965 are acceptable for appointment in Government Services. Probation : Every person appointed to the post shall from the date on which he joins duty be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
