Age Limit
18-36, Candidates should be born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included). Usual age relaxation will be given to SC/ST and Other Backward Communities. Note II: In addition to the age relaxation permitted by the general rules for employees of the Technical Education Department, they are eligible for age relaxation up to the length of their service, provided the maximum age limit shall not exceed 50 years as on 01.01.2023.
Qualifications
1. Must have passed Technical High School Leaving Certificate Examination in the concerned trade. OR 2. (i) Must have passed SSLC or equivalent. (ii) Must possess National Trade Certificate in the concerned trade / Kerala Government Certificate in Engineering Examination in the concerned trade / Vocational Higher Secondary Certificate in the concerned trade.
Notes
Note I: (a) One vacancy is reserved for DA-LV category as per Section 34 (2) of The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016. If no candidates from this category are available, it will be filled by other DA categories as per Section 34 (2) and then by general category. (b) The Ranked list prepared will be in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum of three years. If a new ranked list is published before the expiry of one year, the current list will cease to exist. Vacancies reported during the validity of the list will be filled from the list. (c) 3% of vacancies are reserved for DA candidates (Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment, Blindness/Low Vision) as per G.O.(P) No.1/2013/SJD dated 03.01.2013. Note III: (a) KS & SSR Part-II Rule 10(a) (ii) is applicable. (b) Candidates possessing higher qualifications than those prescribed in the notification and those who have claimed equivalent qualifications should produce Government orders to prove the equivalency at the time of certificate verification. Candidates must produce Aadhaar card as identity proof in their profile.
