Direct Recruitment. (This post is reserved exclusively for women. Differently abled candidates are ineligible to apply for this post)
Age Limit
18 – 36, Candidates born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2005(both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post, with usual relaxation to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities. For the purpose of appointment to the post by direct recruitment, the upper age limit will be relaxed in the case of regular Anganwadi workers of Integrated Child Development Scheme Projects, full period of their services as Anganwadi Workers. (for other Conditions regarding the age relaxation, please see para 2 part II of the General Conditions)
Qualifications
(1) Degree in Sociology/Social Work, Home Science or Psychology of a recognized University. OR (2) A Degree in any other discipline of a recognized University along with Balasevika Training certificate (One Year Course) issued by the Indian/State council for Child Welfare or any other recognised Institutions or Pre- Primary Teachers Training Certificate from Institutions recognized by the Government.
Notes
Note I i) Probation : Every Person appointed by Direct Recruitment shall be Two years on duty within a continuous period of three years ii) Training: Every Person appointed shall also undergo training for such period as so specified by the Government or the Director of the Department from time to time. The training period shall be counted for all service benefits. Note II i) Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable. ii) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders, or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.
