20-39, Candidates born between 02/01/1984 and 01/01/2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. SC/ST and other backward communities are eligible for usual age relaxation. Note: Employees of the Technical Education Department are allowed age relaxation (in addition to the usual age relaxation in general rules) up to 10 years. In such cases, the upper age limit shall not exceed 50 years.

First Class Degree in Information Technology/Engineering from a recognized University. G.O(P) No. 366/2010 dated 08.11.2010 Link: Equivalent qualification admitted in the previous selection Note: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a) ii is applicable.

i: One (01) vacancy is reserved for DA-Low Vision candidates as per Section 34 (2) of The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016. If suitable candidates from this category are not available, the vacancy will be filled by other DA categories as per Section 34 (2), and if not available, from the general category. ii: 3% of vacancies are reserved for Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy, Low Vision (as per GO(P) No. 61/2012/SWD dated 17.10.2012) and Hearing Impairment (as per G.O.(P) No. 9/2019/SJD dated 04.09.2019) candidates. The ranked list prepared shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years. If a new ranked list is published after one year, the current list will cease to be in force. Vacancies reported during the validity of the list will be filled from this list. ii (under qualifications): Weightage marks will be given for non-qualifying Ph.D./M.Phil/Post Doctoral Fellowship as follows: Non-qualifying M.Phil - 2 marks, Non-qualifying Ph.D - 4 marks, M.Phil & Ph.D (Non-qualifying) - 5 marks, Post Doctoral Fellowship - 2 marks. Non-qualifying qualification means additional qualification acquired over and above the basic qualification. If Ph.D/M.Phil/Post Doctoral Fellowship is the basic qualification, no additional marks will be given. Only non-qualifying degrees acquired and declared in the application before the last date will be considered for weightage. iii: Higher qualifications than the basic qualification prescribed in the notification, which are declared equivalent by the Government or accepted by the Commission as equivalent to the prescribed qualification, will be accepted. Government orders regarding equivalent/higher qualifications must be produced when required by the Commission. iv: Candidates must declare the correct caste/community in the application. If it differs from the SSLC book, a non-creamy layer/caste certificate along with a gazette notification regarding the change must be produced at the time of certificate verification. v: Degrees/Diplomas from Universities/Institutions recognized by UGC or established by Act of Parliament/State Legislature as per G.O(M.S) No.526/PD dated 17.07.1965 are acceptable. Defense Service: Candidates appointed are liable to serve in the Defense Department or in defense-related jobs in India or abroad for a period of four years including training, if required by the Government. This liability is limited to the first ten years of service. This rule is not applicable to those who have crossed 40 years of age. Probation: Candidates appointed will be on probation for a period of two years within a continuous period of three years from the date of joining.
