Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to LC/AI, Muslim, SIUC Nadar, OBC communities only)

18-39. Only candidates born between 2.1.1975 and 1.1.1996 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General Condition. Note :- For conditions regarding other age relaxation please see para 2 of the General Conditions except 2 (i).

(a) General. A pass in Pre-Degree or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks or B grade in science subject. Relaxation of 10% marks will be allowed to those belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe and 5% marks to socially and Educationally Backward communities who come under the purview of GO.(P) 208/66/PD dt 21.5.1966 and subsequent orders/amendments. S.S.L.C or equivalent for Ex-servicemen who have passed Class I Blood Transfusion Assistant Test and have put in not less than 15 years service in the Armed Forces. (b) Technical. A pass in one year Medical Laboratory Technician's Training Course conducted by the Medical Colleges in Kerala or by the Public Health Laboratory, Thiruvananthapuram or any qualification equivalent thereto. Note :- In the case of persons who have completed Degree course in Science. `B' Grade in Pre-degree examination will not be insisted.

(i) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to these candidates. (ii) A Ranked Lists will be prepared for Kasaragod District in pursuance of this notification. Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Commission shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following district. (iii) The candidates shall submit application for this post to Kasaragod district where the vacancy for the community is in existence and note the name of that district against the relevant column in the online application. (iv) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a Revenue District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G O (MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue District from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G O (MS) No.4/61/PD, dated 2.1.1961. Candidates already in Government Service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified.
