Scheduled Caste – 1 (One) Note:- The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked list published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancy earmarked to the Scheduled Caste community but remains unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked list published on 21.12.2010 for the post. This is the Third NCA notification for the post owing to the non availability of qualified candidates belonging to the above community as per the first NCA notification (Gazette Dated 31/12/2014, Category Number 703/2014) and Second NCA notification (Gazette Dated 14/06/2016, Category Number 132/2016).

Direct Recruitment (Recruitment from candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste). NOTE: Applications of candidates belonging to community other than Scheduled Caste will be summarily rejected. Individual rejection memo will not be sent to them.

22-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. [For other conditions regarding age relaxation, please see para 2 of the General Conditions, excluding para 2 (i).]

1. Masters Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks. (MA Sanskrit-Jyothisha). 2. Must have passed a Comprehensive Test in the concerned subject specifically conducted for the purpose by UGC or any agency duly constituted by the state government in this behalf. When qualifications are equal, preference shall be given to those candidates who possess adequate knowledge in Malayalam. Note: (i) Candidates who have obtained Ph.D Degree in the concerned subject are exempted from passing the NET examination. (G.O.(P)No.86/07/H.Edn dated 19.06.2007) (ii) Whenever the requirement is for Lecturer in a particular subject to be taught in Sanskrit, candidates with MA (Special) in the subject to be taught alone shall be eligible for selection. (GO(P) No.41/94/H.Edn dated 21.03.1994, GO(P) No. 114/94/H.Edn dated 06.08.1994) (iii) For recruitment to this post, Degrees awarded by the Universities recognized by UGC alone shall be considered. (iv) Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.

Candidates must register as per ‘ONE TIME REGISTRATION’ with the official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered can apply by logging on to their profile using their User-ID and password. Candidates must click on the ‘Apply Now’ button of the respective post in the Notification Link to apply for the post. The Photograph uploaded should be taken on or after 31/12/2010. Name of the candidate and the date of photograph taken should be printed at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates shall take a printout of the application by clicking the link Registration Card in their profile. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before the final submission of the application on the profile, candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User-ID for further communication with the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. The application will be summarily rejected at any stage if noncompliance with the notification is found in due course of processing. Documents to prove qualification, age, community etc have to be produced as and when called for. Candidate who have Aadhar Card should add Aadhar Card as ID proof in their profile. If a Written/OMR/Online Test is conducted as part of this selection, Admission Ticket for eligible candidates will be made available in their Profile for One Time Registration and the date of downloading will be included in the Examination Calendar. Candidates can download Admission Ticket for 15 days from this date. Candidates who have downloaded the Admission Ticket will alone be permitted to attend the examination.
