By Direct Recruitment from qualified in-service personnel working in Kerala Water Authority.

18-50 (No further relaxation is admissible.) Only candidates born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.2007 (Both dates included are eligible to apply for the post) Note: Differently Abled Candidates applying for this post are not eligible for age relaxation.

I) Pass in SSLC or its equivalent. II) National Trade Certificate awarded by the National Council for Vocational Training in the trade Draftsman (Civil/Mechanical) after the completion of 2 year course or its equivalent. OR I) Pass in SSLC or its equivalent. II) Kerala Government Certificate Examination in Engineering in Civil/Mechanical issued by Government of Kerala after the completion of two years course or its equivalent. [G.O. Note:- (i) The above vacancies are now in existence. The list of selected candidates published by the Commission in pursuance to this Notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years provided the list will not continue to be in force if a new Ranked List is published after the minimum period of expiry of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised against the vacancies shown above and for all the vacancies reported during the period of pendency of the Ranked list. (ii) The Kerala Public Service Commission shall have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidate to the above post, if it is subsequently found that such advice was made under some mistake. On such cancellation the appointing authority shall terminate the service of the candidate, provided that, the cancellation of advice for appointment by the Commission and subsequent termination of service of the candidate by the appointing authority shall be made within the period of probation or 240 days from the date of joining duty whichever is earlier. Note:- 1) By Direct Recruitment from qualified In-service personnel working in Kerala Water Authority included under GO(P) No.1/2023/WRD dated, 27.01.2023 rules or under Kerala Water Authority (Administrative, Ministerial and Last Grade) Service Rules, 2011 and who have worked for a period of not less than 3 years . 2) In the absence of eligible candidates, these vacancies will be filled up from the Ranked List prepared for Direct Recruitment to the above post. 3) Reservation provided under Rules 14 to 17 of Part II, KS&SSR is not applicable. (1) Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. (2) In addition to the qualification prescribed in the notification, the qualification recognized by Executive Orders or Standing Orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for the post in the Special Rules or found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of those qualification which pre–suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government Orders declaring equivalent / higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.
