18-40. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. Note:- For concessions allowed in Upper age limit,subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this Notification except para 2(i).
Qualifications
1 SSLC or its equivalent qualification 2 Degree in Urdu conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala OR A Title of oriental Learning in Urdu awarded or recognized by the Universities of Kerala. OR A Pass in Adib-I-Fazil (Preliminary) Examination in Urdu conducted by anyone of the Universities in Kerala. OR A Pass in Urdu Higher Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR B A Urdu and Islamic History double Main Course by Kannur University. [G.O(MS) No.158/18/G.Edn.dated 12/11/2018] Note :Disciplines in which Degree/Title of oriental learning obtained should be mentioned. 3 Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET-IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala Exemption: (i)Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D,M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.16 and G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016) (ii)As per Government Circular No.1866829/J3/2017/G.Edn dated 09/03/2018,exemptions are given to those who have passed C-TET Primary stage from K-TET Category I and C-TET Elementary stage from K-TET Category II .Based on the above condition, C-TET will not be considered against K-TET Category III & IV. (iii)Candidates who have acquired KTET Category III are exempted from acquiring KTET Category IV [G.O.(Ms) No.109/22/GEDN dated. 24.06.2022] Note:- (i)As per G.O(P). No.15/2020/G.Edn dated 09/10/2020, M.Ed which is prescribed as a substitute qualification for K-TET need not be subject specific. (ii) M.Phil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognised as equivalent by any of the Universities in Kerala. (iii) Rule 10 a(ii) of Part II KS&SSR will be applicable for this post. Note:- In addition to the qualification prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the special rules or found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post , shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the commission .
Notes
Two (2) vacancies for the Post of Part Time Junior Language Teacher (Urdu) in Education Department in Kozhikode district set apart as per PWD Act 2016 due to the non availability of candidates belonging to DA-Low Vision and DA-Hearing Impaired Categories (DA LV-1, DA HI-1) in the previous ranked List for this post, will be filled up from the candidates in same DA Categories from the Ranked List published as per this Notification. If candidates are not available in the respective DA categories, vacancies will be filled up from other available DA categories and in the absence of DA candidates in the ranked List, vacancies will be filled up from General Category. (i) Candidates can apply online only by One Time Registration on www.keralapsc.gov.in . Applications submitted in any other manner will be summarily rejected. (ii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for the above districts in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked lists thus prepared and published by the Commission, shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years provided the said list will not continue to be in force if a new list is published after the expiry of the minimum period of one year. Candidates will be advised for appointment against the aforesaid vacancy and also against the vacancies, if any reported during the currency of the list. (iii) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five (5) years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five (5) years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O(MS) No.4/61/PD dated, 02.01.1961. But as per the GO(P)No 12/96/P&ARD dated 16/03/1996 the condition of Five (5) years service is not applicable for transfer to Idukki, Wayanad and Kasargod districts.The concession will be available only for getting transfer to these districts but not for getting transfer out of these districts.And this concession will be granted only once in the career of a Government Servant. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. (iv) Candidates should submit their application for this post to the concerned district, where the vacancy is existing and should note the name of that District against the relevant column of the online application. Applications should not be submitted to more than one district in response to this notification. If applications are submitted contrary to the above direction and if he/she is selected, his/her name will be removed from the Ranked List and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. (v) 4% of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates with disabilities as specified vide G.O.(P) No. 7/2022/SJD dated 28.10.2022. 8. Special concessions regarding Appointment and age limit :- (i) Preference will be given as laid down in G.O.(MS) No. 50/70/PD dated 12.02.1970 and G.O. (MS) No. 9/78/G.Edn. Dated 21.01.1978 to the wives of Jawans in the matter of recruitment as Teachers, if they possess the prescribed qualifications. Soldiers in active service and those working in Base Establishment are included under the term `Jawans'. Wives of Jawans should select “ Are you entitled to any priority” as yes on the online application and give the details in the space following. Such candidates should obtain proper certificates from the Officer Commanding stating the name, military rank and military address of their husbands and produce the same as and when required by the Commission (G.O (MS) No. 509/64/Edn. Dated 19.09.1964, G.O.(MS) No. 614/65/Edn. Dated 09.11.1965 and G.O (MS) No. 243/66/Edn. Dated 27.05.1966). (ii) Laboratory Attenders in the departmental High Schools in the State who have rendered at least 5 years satisfactory service and who possess the prescribed qualification will be exempted from age limit . They should produce proper certificates from the headmaster of the school specifying the date of commencement of their service and the total service put in by them as and when required by the Commission. The candidates who claim exemption on this basis will be considered only against vacancies to be filled up by open competition on the basis of merit alone(G.O (MS) No.315/62/Edn. Dated 14.05.1962) (iii) First Class Scouts and Guides will be given preference in the matter of appointment as Teachers (G.O (MS) No. 122/75/G.Edn. Dated 27.05.1975 and GO(Ms) No.50/70/PD dated 12.2.1970). Note:- The candidates who are eligible for the above preferences or concessions in upper age limit or concessions by virtue of any of the reason mentioned in Para 2 of the General Condition should claim the same through the “weightage and preferences” link provided in their One Time Registration Profile and give details in the space provided. The applications of candidates who are eligible for concession in upper age limit and who do not claim the same, are liable to be rejected presuming that they are over aged candidates. Upper age limit after allowing the relaxation as per rule should not exceed 50 years of age (see para 2 of General Conditions). 9. Mode of Sending Application :- Candidates must register as per “ ONE TIME REGISTRATION” with the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered shall apply by logging in to their profile using their user ID and password. Candidates must click on the `Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for a post. The photograph uploaded should be one taken after 31.12.2013. The candidates creating new profiles should upload the photograph taken within six months. Name of the candidate and the date of taking photograph should be printed legibly at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of taking of the photograph. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before final submission of the application on the profile, candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User ID for further communication with the Commission. Application once submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. Candidates are advisd to keep a soft copy of the online application for further reference. Candidates can take the print out of the application by clicking on the link 'My Applications' in their profile. All correspondences with the Commmission, regarding the application should be accopmpanied with the print out of the application. The application will be summarily rejected if noncompliance with the notification is found in due course of processing. Original Documents to prove qualification, Experience, community, Age, etc., have to be produced as and when called for. “Candidates who have AADHAAR card should add AADHAAR card as I.D. Proof in their profile”. 12 Special Instructions to Candidates. i) In the case of difference in caste/ Community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC book, the candidates shall produce a Gazette Notification in this regard, along with Non- Creamy layer Certificate/ Community Certificate at the time of Certificate verification. ii) Candidates are required to acquaint themselves with the instructions given in the notification as part II ,General Conditions before submitting application for the post. Applications which are not submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions laid down in the General Conditions are liable to be rejected. (iii) Appropriate disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of the Kerala Public Service Commission Rules of Procedure 1976 shall be initiated against those Candidates who submit applications with bogus claims of qualification regarding education, experience etc and are liable to be disqualified for being considered for a particular post or debartment from applying to the Commission either permanently or for any period or the invalidation of their answer scripts or products in a written/practical test or the initiation of criminal or other proceedings against them or their removal or dismissal from office or the ordering of any other disciplinary action against them if they have already been appointed , or any one or more of the above. (iv) If a Written Test/OMR/Online Examination is conducted as a part of this selection, Candidates shall submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their ' One Time Registration' Profile. Such candidates alone can generate and download the Admission Ticket in the last 15 days till the date of test. The applications of the candidates who do not submit confirmation within the stipulated period will be rejected absolutely. The periods regarding the submission of confirmation and the availability of Admission Ticket will be published in the examination calander itself. Information in this regard will be given to the candidates in their respective profiles and in the mobile phones registered in it.
