18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Communities are eligible for usual age relaxation. 1. SSLC or equivalent qualification. 2. Must have passed the Karnataka Government Kannada Typewriting (Lower Grade) examination or equivalent qualification.

(a) KS&SSR Part-II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. (b) Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce Government order/equivalency certificate proving the equivalency at the time of verification, otherwise the qualification will not be considered. (c) Candidates should claim the correct caste/community in the application and the same should be noted in the SSLC book. In case of any difference, a Gazette notification regarding the change of name/caste should be produced at the time of certificate verification. (d) Candidates must upload a photo taken after 31/12/2012. For new profiles, the photo must be taken within the last six months. The name of the candidate and the date of taking the photo must be clearly recorded at the bottom of the photo. (e) Candidates must submit the printout of the online application if required by the Commission. (f) If a written/OMR/online test is conducted, candidates must submit confirmation through their One Time Registration profile. Only those who submit confirmation will be able to download the admission ticket. (g) Candidates who make false claims regarding qualifications or experience will face disciplinary action as per KPSC Rules of Procedure, Rule 22. (h) Candidates having Aadhar card should provide it as an identity document in their profile.
