18-40, Candidates born between 02/01/1983 and 01/01/2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other backward communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. (For other conditions regarding age relaxation, please see Part II, Para 2 of the General Conditions.) Note: In no case, the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (fifty) years.

(i) B.Sc. Agriculture or equivalent qualification. (ii) Three years experience in the same field in Government/Quasi Government/Public Sector/Recognized Private Sector Institutions. Note: 1) Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II, KS&SSR is applicable for this selection. 2) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, qualifications declared equivalent by executive orders or standing orders of the Government, qualifications prescribed in the special rules, and qualifications considered equivalent by the Commission as basic qualifications for higher qualifications shall be accepted. Candidates shall produce Government orders regarding equivalent/higher qualifications when required by the Commission.

i) The vacancies mentioned above are currently available for the General Category. Vacancies arising in KERAFED will be filled in a 1:1 ratio from General Category (Part I) and Society Category (Part II). The first vacancy belongs to the General Category. Vacancies set aside for the Society Category will be filled by a separate notification as Part II. Appointments from both lists will be made following the reservation rules 14 to 17 of the General Rules of KS&SSR 1958. ii) The rank list prepared as per this notification will be valid for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years. If a new rank list is published for the same post after one year, the validity of the current list will expire from that date. Appointments will be made from this list for further vacancies reported while the list is in force, specifically for those allocated to the General Category. iii) The selection process for this notification will be conducted at the State level. 5. Probation: The probation period for those appointed to this post will be two years of service within a continuous period of three years from the date of joining the service. (c) Candidates having Aadhar Card should provide Aadhar Card as ID proof in their profile.
