Age Limit
18-36 (Candidates must be born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included). Usual age relaxation is applicable to SC/ST and other backward communities.) Note: The maximum age limit shall not exceed 50 years in any case, subject to the special benefits provided in Part II of the notification (Paragraph 2).
Qualifications
i) Must have passed 7th Standard or equivalent qualification. But should not have acquired a Degree. ii) Must have experience of not less than one year as 'Aya' in any Government institution or any institution registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Central Act XXI of 1860) or the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act, 1955 (Act XII of 1955) or any institution run by local bodies using Government grant or any Government aided autonomous institution.
Notes
i) The experience mentioned in item (ii) must be obtained after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned in item (i). ii) Selection to this post is reserved for women only in all departments. iii) In the absence of candidates with experience qualification in SC/ST category, candidates with basic educational qualification will be considered for appointment. Such candidates will be appointed for training during the probation period to obtain the experience mentioned in item (ii). iv) K.S & S.S.R Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable to this selection. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the Government order proving the equivalency at the time of verification. v) Candidates claiming experience qualification must upload the scanned image/affidavit of the experience certificate in the prescribed format. The certificate must contain details like certificate number, date, post name, duration, name of the issuing authority, name of the institution, etc. Candidates must produce the original certificate when required by the Commission.
