I By-Transfer Recruitment Category Number : 140/2022 Recruitment by transfer from Head masters and High School Teachers in the Kerala General Education subordinate service and Teachers of Government Higher Secondary School having the qualifications and experience prescribed for the post. In the absence of qualified candidates for appointment under item(I) above, by Direct Recruitment. II Direct Recruitment Category Number : 141/2022

(1) For Recruitment By – Transfer: No upper age limit is prescribed for recruitment By-Transfer (2) For Direct Recruitment: 22-40. Only candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Usual relaxation in upper age limit shall be allowed to SC/ST/OBC Candidates (For conditions regarding age relaxation please see Para (2) of the General Conditions in Part II of the Gazette Notification)

For Recruitment By-Transfer and Direct Recruitment (1) Masters Degree in the concerned subject or discipline with atleast 50% marks or its equivalent and good academic records. (G.O(P)No.115/2008/H.Edn.Dated:27.09.2008) (2) M.Ed Degree with not less than 55 % marks (G.O(P)No.102/2011/H.Edn.Dated:19.07.2011) (3) Three years teaching experience in Schools or Colleges after acquiring the professional qualifications. (4) Must have passed a comprehensive test specifically conducted for the purpose by UGC or any agency duly constituted by the State Government in this behalf. When qualifications are equal preference shall be given to candidates who possess adequate knowledge in Malayalam.

Note:- 1. Method of Direct Recruitment will be considered only in the absence of qualified candidates for recruitment by transfer. 2. Candidates who apply for By-Transfer recruitment should obtain a service certificate in original in the form mentioned below from the head of institution in which they are working as HM/HST/HSS Teacher and produce the same as and when required by the Commission (The name of the post High school Assistant has been renamed as High School Teacher vide G.O(P) No.8/2018/GEDN dt 21.03.18). Note:- (1) The genuineness of the certificate will be subjected to verification and if found bogus,legal action will be taken against the authorities who issued bogus certificate and the candidates who produce the same. (2) The experience certificate produced from institutions other than of Government should be got countersigned by the controlling authority/Administrative authority of the Government Department who is authorised to inspect records of the institution. Note:- 1) Candidates who have acquired Non-qualifying degrees viz. Ph.D/M.Phil/Post Doctoral Fellowship will be awarded weightage marks provided that such non-qualifying degrees shall be in the subjects pertaining to the basic qualification stipulated for the post.Weightage marks for non qualifying degrees for ranking will be awarded as detailed below. Non-Qualifying M.Phil - 2 marks Non-Qualifying Ph.D- 4 marks Both M.Phil & Ph.D (Non-Qualifying) -5 marks Post Doctoral Fellowship - 2 marks 2) Non-Qualifying degree means the additional qualifications which are earned apart from the qualifications insisted on as essential qualifications for the post. If Ph.D/M.Phil/Post Doctoral Fellowship is reckoned as necessary qualification for the post,weightage marks will not be awarded for it. 3) Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. 4)The Educational qualification amended vide G.O.(P)No.115/2008/H.Edn dt.27.09.2008 will not be insisted in the case of those who were in service before the date of publication of the Kerala Collegiate Education Service (Amendment) Special Rules, 2008. 5)Degrees awarded by Universities recognized by UGC alone shall be considered. 6)Candidates who claim equivalent Qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government order/Equivalancy certificate to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification concerned. 7) In the case of difference in original caste/community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC book ,the candidates shall produce a Gazette Notification in this regard,along with NCLC/Community Certificate at the time of Certificate Verification. Exemption:- The Candidates having Ph. D Degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET (GO(P)No. 86/07/H. Edn. Dated:19.06.2007) Reservation:- Rules of reservation provided under rules 14 to 17 of part II of KS & SSR 1958 are not applicable in the case of Recruitment By-Transfer.
