Upper age limit is not applicable for this post. Note: Applicants should produce Service Certificate in the format given below obtained from the Board to the effect that they are working in the Board on a regular basis as and when called for.

Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent qualification. OR Associate Membership Diploma of the Institute of Engineers India in Civil Engineering or any other Diploma recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto. OR Pass in Sections A & B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institute of Engineers India in Civil Engineering. [B O No Estt II-22127/72 Dtd. 30.05.1990]

1. The above vacancies are now in existence. The ranklist of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said ranklist will continue to be in force till the publication of a new ranklist after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies noted above and also against the vacancies if any reported to the Commission in writing during the period of currency of the list. 2. The Kerala Public Service Commission shall have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidate to the above post, if it is subsequently found that such advise was made under some mistake. On such cancellation, the Appointing Authority shall terminate the service of the candidate, provided that, the cancellation of advice for appointment by the Commission and subsequent termination of service of the candidate by the Appointing Authority shall be made within the period of his/ her probation or 240 days from the date of his /her joining duty whichever is earlier. 3. Rule 2(13) of Part I and Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR are applicable. 4. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, the qualifications recognized by Executive Orders or Standing Orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post in the Special Rules or found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of those qualification which pre–suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent / higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission. 5. Probation :- The probation period is applicable as per the provisions of Kerala State Electricity Board Limited. 6. Candidates must register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION' with the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' before applying for the post. 7. If a Written/OMR/Online Test is conducted as part of this selection, candidate shall submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration Profile.
