Age Limit
18-41. Candidates must be born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included). In the absence of qualified candidates within the specified age limit, the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. However, in no case shall it exceed 50 (fifty) years.
Qualifications
(1) Must have passed SSLC Examination. (2) Must have passed the Laboratory Attenders Test conducted by the Kerala Public Service Commission. Note: It is not mandatory to have passed the Laboratory Attenders Test at the time of appointment. The test must be passed within the probation period.
Notes
Note: (i) A separate rank list will be prepared for each district under this notification. The rank list thus prepared will be in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years. If a new rank list is published for the same post in the same district after one year, the rank list prepared under this notification will cease to be in force from that date. Appointments will be made from the said list to the vacancies shown above and to any further vacancies reported for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe for special recruitment while the list is in force. Appointments will also be made to vacancies reserved exclusively for Scheduled Tribe from the said list. A separate notification will be issued for vacancies reserved exclusively for Scheduled Tribe only if no Scheduled Tribe candidates are included in this list. (ii) Selection under this notification will be conducted in accordance with the special provisions of G.O (M.S) 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971 on a district basis. A person receiving an appointment from the district-wise rank list will not be allowed to transfer to any other district for a period of five consecutive years from the date of commencement of service. After five years, if a transfer to another district is allowed, it will be subject to the provisions of G.O (M.S) 4/61/PD dated 02.01.1961. Candidates currently in government service in the same post in the same department in any district are not eligible to apply under this notification, but may apply when applications are invited for a higher post. (iii) Candidates must apply only to one district where vacancies are recorded in this notification and must record the name of the district in the specified column of the application. If it is found that a candidate has applied in more than one district or has been selected due to such action, the said application will be rejected unconditionally and disciplinary action will be taken against them. (iv) In case of any discrepancy in the caste records in the SSLC book, candidates must claim the correct caste in the application and produce the caste certificate issued by the revenue authorities and the relevant gazette notification at the time of OTR verification for the relevant post. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable to this selection. Candidates claiming higher/equivalent qualifications for the qualifications prescribed in the notification will be considered as equivalent only if they produce the government order proving the equivalence of the said qualification at the time of verification. (a) Candidates must register as per the One Time Registration scheme on the official website www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying. Candidates who have already registered can login using their User ID and Password and apply through their profile. Click on the 'Apply now' button of the notification link for the respective post. The uploaded photo must have been taken after 31.12.2012. For candidates starting a new profile, the photograph must have been taken within 6 months. The name of the candidate and the date the photo was taken must be clearly recorded at the bottom of the photo. The photo will be valid for 10 years from the date it was taken. No application fee is required. It is the responsibility of the candidate to keep the password confidential and ensure that personal details are correct. Candidates must ensure that the details included in their profile are correct before applying for each post. The User ID must be recorded in all correspondence with the Commission. Once an application is submitted to the Commission, it is accepted conditionally. After submission, no changes or deletions can be made to the application. Candidates should take a soft copy/print out of the online application for future use. Candidates can take a print out of the application by clicking on the 'My applications' link in their profile. The print out of the application must also be submitted in correspondence with the Commission regarding the application. If the submitted application is found to be contrary to the notification conditions at any stage of the selection process, it will be rejected unconditionally. Original documents proving educational qualification, experience, caste, age, etc., should be produced when required by the Commission. (b) Candidates with an Aadhar card must provide the Aadhar card as an identity document in their profile. 10. If a written/OMR/online examination is conducted in connection with this selection, candidates must provide confirmation through their One Time Registration profile. Only those who provide such confirmation will be able to download the admission ticket in the last 15 days before the examination date. Applications of candidates who do not provide confirmation within the stipulated time will be rejected unconditionally. Details regarding the period for providing confirmation and the date for downloading the admission ticket will be published in the relevant examination calendar. Notification regarding this will also be provided in the candidate's profile and the mobile phone number registered therein. Only candidates who download the admission ticket will be allowed to write the exam. 11. Disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of KPSC Rules of Procedure 1976 will be taken against candidates who submit an application by making false claims regarding education, experience, etc., and then provide confirmation for the exam but do not appear or appear for the exam. 12. The provisions in paragraphs 2, 3, and 25 of the General Conditions (excluding the rules regarding 3(c) clause in Part II of Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules) are applicable to this selection. 13. Appointments will be made based on the rank in the list prepared based on this notification, in accordance with the government orders dated 17/01/1976 (G.O.(P) No. 21/76/PD) and 22/01/1994 (G.O.(P) No. 25/94/GAD) regarding special reservation for Scheduled Tribe, and subject to the special rules in force at the time of appointment and the rules 3(c), 17(a), 17(b) of Part II of the Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules 1958.
