Age Limit
18-41. Candidates must be born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included). In the absence of qualified candidates within the specified age limit, the upper age limit will be relaxed up to 50 years. However, under no circumstances shall it exceed 50 years.
Qualifications
(A) General: (i) Pass in Pre-Degree or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in Science subjects with 'B' Grade. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates are allowed 10% marks relaxation as per G.O(P) No. 208/66/PD dated 21.05.1966 and subsequent amendments. (ii) Ex-servicemen who have served in the Armed Forces for not less than 15 years and have passed the Class I Blood Transfusion Assistant examination are eligible with SSLC or equivalent qualification. (B) Technical: Must have passed Medical Laboratory Technician Training Course conducted by Medical Colleges in Kerala or Public Health Laboratory, Thiruvananthapuram, or equivalent qualification. Note: Candidates who have completed a Degree course in Science subjects need not have 'B' Grade in Pre-Degree examination.
Notes
1. Separate rank lists will be prepared for each district. The rank list will remain in force for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years. 2. Selection is district-wise. Candidates cannot transfer to another district for five years from the date of joining. 3. Candidates must apply only to the district where vacancies are reported. Applying to more than one district will lead to rejection of applications and disciplinary action. 4. Only Scheduled Tribe candidates are eligible. 5. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. 6. Candidates must upload a photo taken after 31.12.2013. 7. No application fee. 8. Candidates must keep a soft copy/print out of the application. 9. Confirmation is mandatory for exams. 10. Aadhaar card should be provided as identity proof in the profile.
