Direct Recruitment from candidates belonging to Ezhava/Billava/Thiyya and Scheduled Caste Communities only.

a) 18-39 Only Candidates belonging to Ezhava/Billava/Thiyya community born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (including relaxation as per para 2 (i) of the General Conditions). In no case the maximum upper age limit shall exceed 50 (fifty) years. b) 18-41 Only Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (including relaxation as per para 2 (i) of the General Conditions). In no case the maximum upper age limit shall exceed 50 (fifty) years. Note:- The provisional hands working in the above concern will be given age relaxation to the extent of their provisional service put in subject to a maximum of Five years from the upper age limit provided they are within the prescribed age limit on the date of their first appointment in the above concern. But the regular employees of the concern are not eligible for the above concession for further appointment. The provisional hands should obtain a certificate showing the period of their provisional service in the concern and shall produce the same as and when required by the Commission. It would also be clearly specified in the certificate that they were not working in the regular service of the concern. a) Diploma in Electrical Engineering . OR In the absence of Candidates with the above qualification Certificate awarded by the ITI after having completed 18 months course in the trade of Electrician and successful completion of apprenticeship. b) Two years experience in a film studio of repute.

Note:- (i) The above vacancies are existing at present. The Ranked List published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked to the Ezhava/Billava/Thiyya, Scheduled Caste Communities but remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published on 25.10.2021 for the post as per Category No.321/2019. This is the Second NCA notification due to the non availability of qualified candidates for the post as per the Gazette Notification dated 16.08.2022 vide Category Numbers 338/2022(NCA-E/B/T), 340/2022(NCA-SC). (ii) The Kerala Public Service Commission shall have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidate to the above post, if it is subsequently found that such advice was made under some mistake. On such cancellation the appointing authority shall terminate the service of candidate, provided that, the cancellation of advice for appointment by the Commission and subsequent termination of service of the candidate by the appointing authority shall be made within the period of probation or 240 days from the date of joining duty whichever is earlier. Note:- Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than Ezhava/Billava/Thiyya and Scheduled Caste will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to these candidates. Note: (i) Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable. (ii) “In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquistion of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent / higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the commission”. 8. Probation: The probation period is applicable as per the provisions of the Special Rules of the Kerala State Film Development Corporation Ltd.
