Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among Scheduled Tribes only) Note : Applications received from candidates other than Scheduled Tribe will be rejected. Individual communications regarding the rejection of their applications for the above reason will not be issued.

18-46. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Note :- In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be relaxed upto 50 years. But in no case the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (fifty) years.

1. General : S.S.L.C 2. Technical : Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery Certificate (revised course of 18 months) issued by the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council OR Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery Certificate/Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery Certificate (revised course) issued by an authority recognised by the Indian Nursing Council. OR Health Workers Training Certificate issued by the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council. 3. Registration with Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council.

i) A Ranked List will be prepared for Thrissur district in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Recruitment will be made for the above vacancy and also for the vacancies reported for Special Recruitment for Scheduled Tribes during the currency of the said list. ii) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O. (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List so prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if, transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the orders contained in G.O(MS) No. 4/61/PD, dated 02.1.1961. Candidates already in Government service, holding the post in any one district are restricted from applying for the same post in another district. But they can apply for higher posts when notified. iii) Applications should only be sent to the particular district in response to this notification. If applications are sent contrary to the above direction and if he/she is selected, his/her name will be removed from the Ranked List and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. Candidates should submit application for the post to the district office concerned, where the vacancy is existing and should note the name of that district against the relevant column of the online application. (1) In the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes, general educational qualification will be relaxed and a pass in Standard VIII shall be sufficient subject to the condition that the relaxation will be allowed only in the absence of fully qualified Scheduled Tribe candidates and to the extent necessary for filling up the quota reserved for Scheduled Tribes candidates alone. (2) Differently abled candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. (3) Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
