By Transfer Appointment (District-wise) (i) Category No: 028/2022: Appointment by transfer from among those who have successfully completed probation in the category of LDC/LDI/Forest Driver in the Forest Department. (ii) Category No: 029/2022: Appointment by transfer from among those who have successfully completed probation in the categories of Depot Watcher/Reserve Watcher/Tribal Watcher in the Forest Department. (iii) Category No: 030/2022: Appointment by transfer from among those who have successfully completed probation in the Last Grade categories (excluding Depot Watcher/Reserve Watcher/Tribal Watcher) in the Forest Department.

Should not have completed 40 years of age as on 01.01.2022. Usual age relaxation will be allowed to other backward classes and SC/ST candidates.

(1) Educational Qualifications: Passed Plus Two examination conducted by the Higher Secondary Education Department, Government of Kerala or equivalent examination recognized by the Government of Kerala or Government of India. Note: (a) In the case of those who entered service prior to 30.08.2010, the basic qualification shall be SSLC or equivalent. (b) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a) (ii) is applicable. (c) Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce the Government Order proving equivalency at the time of verification. (2) Male / Female candidates should possess the following qualifications further: (a) Male Candidates: (i) Physical Qualifications: Height- Minimum 168 cm, Chest- Minimum 81 cm with minimum 5 cm expansion. Note: Minimum height for SC/ST candidates is 160 cm. The chest expansion condition of minimum 5 cm is applicable to them also. (ii) Endurance Test: All male candidates must successfully complete a 2 kilometer run within 13 minutes. (iii) Physical Efficiency Test: Must qualify in any 5 (five) out of the 8 (eight) events specified for men in the National Physical Efficiency Test at the One Star standard. (b) Female Candidates: (i) Physical Qualifications: Height- Minimum 157 cm. Note: Minimum height for SC/ST female candidates is 150 cm. (ii) Physical Efficiency Test: Must qualify in any 5 (five) out of the 9 (nine) events specified for women in the National Physical Efficiency Test at the One Star standard. (iii) Endurance Test: All female candidates must successfully complete a 2 kilometer run within 15 minutes. (3) Medical Standards: (i) Ear: Hearing power should be sound. (ii) Eye: Must be certified to possess vision without glasses of the standards specified below: Right Eye / Left Eye (a) Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen / 6/6 Snellen (b) Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen / 0.5 Snellen (c) Colour Vision: Normal (d) Night Blindness: Should be absent (iii) Muscles and joints: Free from paralysis and all joints should be capable of free movement. (iv) Nervous System: Fully fit and free from infectious diseases.

1. Candidates must apply only through online registration to a single district. 2. Rank lists will be prepared on a district-wise basis. 3. Candidates selected under this notification shall undergo training for one year in any of the Forest Training Schools. 4. Those appointed by transfer shall be on probation for a period of two years within a continuous period of three years from the date of joining duty.
