Driver cum Office Attendant (LMV)

Direct Recruitment (From among candidates belonging to Muslim Community only)

18-39. Only candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (Application received from candidates not belonging to Muslim Community will be summarily rejected without further intimation.)

A pass in Std VII or equivalent qualification 2.Must possess a current, Motor Driving Licence of three years standing to drive Light Motor vehicles with Drivers Badge. 3.Medical Fitness: Should be medically fit as per the standards specified below: (I) Ear: Hearing should be perfect (II) Eye: Distant vision: 6/6– Snellen for both eyes. Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen for both eyes. Colour Vision: Normal Night Blindness :Nil Field of vision: Full (III) Muscles and joints : No Paralysis and all joints with free movements (IV)Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Notes: (1) Candidates shall possess a Current Driving License throughout all stages of selection process as on the last date of application, OMR Test, Practical Test, Interview etc. (2)Proficiency in driving Light Motor vehicles is to be proved by a practical test conducted by the KPSC during the course of selection. (3) Candidates shall produce a Medical Fitness certificate from a Medical Officer not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon and a Medical Certificate regarding eyesight obtained from an Ophthalmologist in Government service (in prescribed form) as and when called for by the commission. (4) Differently abled persons are not eligible to apply for this post. (5) Persons who are appointed to the above post shall perform the duties of Office Attendant also. (6) Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. (7) In addition to the qualification prescribed in this notification, the qualification recognized by Executive Orders or Standing Orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post in the Special Rules or found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of those qualification which pre–suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent / higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission. (8) The Drivers Badge has been exempted for driving Light Motor Vehicles from 12.10.2018.
