Direct Recruitment from among candidates belonging to Viswakarma community only.

18-45, Only candidates born between 02/01/1979 and 01/01/2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post. For other conditions regarding age relaxation please see Part II Para 2 of General Conditions of this notification.

1. Degree in Modern Medicine (MBBS) or equivalent qualification 2. Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in concerned specialty or equivalent qualification OR Diplomate in National Board in Concerned specialty. OR D M Degree in Cardiology/Neurology/Medical Gastroenterology/Nephrology OR MCH Degree in Urology (Genito Urinary Surgery)/Thorasic Surgery/Surgical Gastroenterology/Plastic Surgery/Paediatrics Surgery/Neuro Surgery OR Equivalent qualification of Diplomate in National Board in the above specialties. 3. All persons must possess valid registration with Travancore - Cochin Medical Council.

Note:-Application of candidates belonging to community other than Viswakarma community will be summarily rejected. Individual rejection memo will not be issued to them. Note I :- Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders, or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules or found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission. Note II:- Preferences will be given in direct recruitment to candidates with Post Graduate Degree or Super Specialty Degree over those with Post Graduate Diploma qualifications, other things being equal. Note III : (1) Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Post Graduate Degree/Super Specialty Degree wherever mentioned in this notification must be either awarded or recognized by any recognized University or equivalent Institute. Medical Post Graduate Degree/Diploma or equivalent qualifications recognized by Medical Council of India and Diplomate in National Board awarded by National Board of Examinations only will be considered. Non Medical Degree or Diploma mentioned in this notification must be awarded by any recognized University or equivalent Institute. (2) Equivalent Medical qualification wherever mentioned in this notification (except DNB) means those qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Medical Council of India.
