20 – 41, Only candidates born between 02/01/1983 and 01/01/2004 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for the post with usual age relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities.(For other conditions of age relaxation please see Para(2) of Part II General Conditions in the Gazette)

1. First Class Master's Degree in appropriate branch of Engineering /Technology from a recognised University after undergoing a regular course of study. 2. Five years experience in teaching as Lecturer in Government / Government aided or AICTE approved Polytechnic Colleges

i KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a)ii is applicable ii Candidates who have acquired Non-qualifying Degrees viz. Ph.D/M.Phil/Post Doctoral Fellowship will be awarded weightage marks provided that such Non-Qualifying Degrees shall be in the subjects pertaining to the basic qualification stipulated for the post. Weightage marks for Non-qualifying Degrees for ranking will be awarded as detailed below. Non-Qualifying M.Phil - 2 marks Non-Qualifying Ph.D - 4 marks Both M.Phil and Ph.D (Non-Qualifying) - 5 marks Post Doctoral Fellowship - 2 marks Non-qualifying degree means the additional qualifications which are earned apart from the qualifications insisted on as essential qualifications for the post. If Ph.D/M.Phil/Post Doctoral Fellowship is reckoned as essential qualification for the post, weightage marks will not be awarded for it. Weightage marks will be awarded only to those non-qualifying degrees which are claimed in the application and which are acquired on or before the last date for receipt of applications. iii In addition to the qualifications mentioned above, qualifications notified as equivalent to the prescribed qualification by way of executive orders or standing orders of the Government, as well as higher qualification which presuppose the basic qualification prescribed for the post, shall be acceptable. Government Orders regarding equivalent qualifications / higher qualifications shall be produced by the candidate as and when called for by the Commission. iv Candidates should obtain experience Certificate in the following format and enter details regarding experience (certificate number,date,name of post,period,issuing authority,name of institution etc.) and upload scanned image of the same before submitting application. Candidates should produce the Certificate as and when asked for the same. Probation: Every person appointed to this post shall from the date on which he joins duty, be on probation for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
