20 – 39. Only candidates born between 02/01/1986 and 01/01/2005 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for the post with usual age relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities.(For other conditions of age relaxation please see Para(2) of Part II General Conditions in the Gazette) Note: Officers of the Technical Education Department, Public Works Department, Public Health Engineering Department, Industries Department, Architecture and Town Planning Department may also apply as per this notification. They will be allowed age relaxation to the extent of their service in those departments. (maximum age limit shall not exceed 50 years as on 01.01.2025.

First class Bachelor's Degree in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology from a recognized University after undergoing a regular course of study. Note: Basic qualification for the post in the order of preference i) Degree in Tool & Die Engineering ii) Degree in Production Engineering iii) Degree in Production cum Plant Engineering (G.O(P) No. 366/2010/H.Edn. Dated 08.11.2010) Note : i KS&SSR part II Rule 10 (a)ii is applicable

1 Due to the non availability of DA - LV candidate as per section 34(2) of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016 in the previous Ranked List of this post, one vacancy is reserved for the DA - LV category. The same will be filled from above said category from the Ranked List published pursuant to this notification. In the absence of above said DA category in the Ranked List as per this notification, the same will be advised from other eligible DA categories as per Section 34(2) of above said Act. In the absence of DA candidates, It will be advised from General Category. 2 4% of the total vacancies to be reported shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates with disabilities as specified vide G.O(P) No. 5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023. The Ranked list published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and maximum period of three years, provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year, or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies noted above and against vacancies that may be reported to the Commission during the period of currency of the Ranked list. Liability to serve in the Defence Services : Persons appointed to the above mentioned post shall be liable, notwithstanding that at the time of requisition they are holding higher appointments, to serve for a minimum period of four years (including period spent in training) in the Defence Services or on assignments relating to Defence efforts anywhere in India or abroad, if so required. The liability to serve in the Defence Services will be limited to the first 10 years of service and will not ordinarily apply to those above 40 years of age.
