Age Limit
18-41, Only candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2003 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post . Note:- In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit, upper age limit shall be relaxed upto 50 years. But in no case the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (Fifty) years.
Qualifications
1) Should have passed Standard VII and should not have acquired Graduation. 2) Experience for not less than one year as “Ayah” of children gained from a Government Institution or from any Institution registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 (Central Act XXI of 1860) of the Travancore Cochin Literary Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act 1955 (XII of 1955) or any institution run by the local bodies using Government grant or from any autonomous grant-in-aid institutions.
Notes
(i) The above Vacancies are now in existence. Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification. The list of selected candidates published by the Commission shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years provided that the said list will not continue to be in force if a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year is published. Recruitment will be made for the above vacancies and also for the vacancies reported for Special Recruitment from Scheduled Tribes during the currency of the list. (ii) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a Revenue District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue District from the Ranked List so prepared is not eligible for transfer to another District unless she completes five (5) years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five (5) years, it will be subject to the orders contained in G O (Ms) No.4/61/PD dated 02.01.1961. Candidates already in Government service, holding the post in any one District are restricted from applying for the same post in another District. But they can apply for higher posts when notified. (iii) Applications should not be submitted to more than one district in response to this notification. If applications are sent contrary to the above direction and if the candidate is selected, her name will be removed from the Ranked List and disciplinary action will be taken against her. Note:-Applications received from candidates other than Scheduled Tribe Women will be rejected. Individual communications regarding the rejection of their applications for the above reason will not be issued. Note : 1. Experience mentioned in item 2 should be the one gained after acquiring the General Educational Qualification prescribed in item 1. 2. In the case of Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes category, in the absence of experienced qualified candidates, candidates with basic educational qualification shall be considered for appointment. They shall be deputed for trainig for experience as specified in item 2 above during their period of probation. 3. Rule 10(a) (ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable for selection to the post. 4. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification concerned. 5. If the caste of candidates is wrongly mentioned in their SSLC book, they should claim their origional caste in their applcations ansd should produce community certificate issued from concerned revenue authority and the Gazette Notification for the same at the time of certificate verification. 6. Candidates who claim bogus information about qualification and Experience in their application irrespective of whether they attend the exam after giving confirmation will be liable to disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of KPSC Rules of Procedure 1976.
