Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to the communities mentioned in column No.5 of para 2 above)

1) 21-49 : Only candidates born between 02-01-1964 and 01-01-1992 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of Other Backward Communities. 2) 21-50 : Only candidates born between 02-01-1963 and 01-01-1992 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of SC/ST communities. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions) Note : For conditions regarding other age relaxation please see para 2 of the General conditions except para 2(i).

(1) Qualifications mentioned against respective post in Column No.4 of Para 2. (2) Permanent Registration under Travancore Cochin Medical Council. (Above qualifications must be acquired on or before the last date of receipt of application)

NOTE: 1. DNB qualifications must be acquired from a Medical College, which is recognized by any of the University in Kerala. 2. Provisional Registration with any Medical Council will not be accepted. 3. Those who are appointed in the post should serve for four (4) years during the first ten(10) years of their service (including the period of training) anywhere in India or any other foreign country under defence services connected with defence, if required. Those who have completed 45 years of age are exempted from the above compulsory Military service. Note:1) Application submitted by candidates other than the communities mentioned above will be rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to them individually. 2) Applications received from SC candidates for the vacancies marked for the ST community and vice versa will be considered in the absence of candidates from the concerned community. 3) Separate application need to be submitted online in each category in case applicants desire to apply for more than one post.
