Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, Scheduled Caste communities only).
Age Limit
18-43. Candidates belonging to Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava communities born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. 18-45. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste communities born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (including the age relaxation as per Para 2 (i) of the General Conditions).
Qualifications
1) Arabic Degree in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the University of Calicut. OR Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala. OR Passed SSLC Examination with First Language (First Paper and Second Paper) Arabic and Parts I and II taken together. OR Passed SSLC Examination or its equivalent and possessing any of the following qualifications: 1) Arabic Munshi (Higher) Examination passed. 2) Arabic Munshi (Lower) Examination passed. 3) Arabic Teachers Examination passed. 4) Admission Test conducted by the Universities of Kerala or Calicut. 2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET-IV) for this post.
Notes
i) Candidates must register as per 'One Time Registration' with the official website of Kerala Public Service Commission (www.keralapsc.gov.in) before applying. ii) Selection to the post will be on the basis of a District-wise Ranked List. iii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected.
