18-39. Only candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2006 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post (including age relaxation as per para 2(i) of general conditions) (For other conditions regarding age relaxations, please see Part-II, Para 2 of the General conditions of the Gazette Notification.) (except para 2(i))

(1) Pass in Standard VII or equivalent qualification. (2) Must have 3 years experience as Caulker in an approved Boat Building Yard.

Note :-(1) The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked List published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancy earmarked for the above mentioned community but remain unfilled due to the paucity of qualified candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published on 29.07.2024 (Cat No.012/2022). Note:- 1. Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. 2. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order/ Equivalency Certificate if equivalency is mentioned in the notification to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification concerned. 3. In the case of difference in original caste/ community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a Gazette notification in this regard, along with Community Certificate/NCLC at the time of certificate verification. 4. Candidates who claim experience qualification should obtain experience certificate in the format given in Annexure itself and enter details regarding experience (certificate number, date, name of post, period, issuing authority, name of institution etc) and upload scanned image of the same in the profile to make submission of application possible. Candidates should produce the experience certificate as and when called for the same by the Commission. NB: The veracity of the experience certificate will be subjected to scrutiny and legal actions will be initiated against those who issue or produce bogus certificate. 8. Probation : Every person appointed to this post shall, from the date on which he/she joins duty, be on probation for a total period of two years of duty within a continuous period of three years.
