Age Limit
20-39. Only candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post (including age relaxation as per Para 2 (i) of the General conditions) (For other conditions regarding the age relaxation please see Para 2 of the General conditions. (Except Para 2(i)).
Qualifications
1. A pass in Pre-Degree / Plus Two course with Science subject with not less than 50% marks. 2. A pass in the two years Diploma Course in Blood Bank Technology conducted by the Sree Chitra Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology / Medical Colleges / Health Services Department.
Notes
Note:- As per GO(P)No.1/2013/SJD dated 03.01.2013 differently abled candidates with Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment are identified as suitable for 3% appointment to this post. Hence differently abled candidates with Blindness/Low vision are not eligible to apply for this post. Note : 1. Rule 10 a(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. 2. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification concerned. 3. In the case of difference in original Caste / Community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a Gazette notification in this regard, along with Non Creamy Layer Certificate / Community Certificate at the time of certificate verification. Probation : Every person appointed to this post shall, from the date on which he/she joins duty, be on probation for a total period of two years of duty within a continuous period of three years.
