1) 10th standard with first language Kannada/ Kannada as medium of instruction along with TTC/ D.Ed/ D.El.Ed in Kannada medium after a pass in Higher secondary Examination. OR 10th standard with Kannada as the medium of instruction and B.Ed./ B.T./ L.T./ D.Ed./ D.El.Ed along with a Degree in any subject. OR 10th standard with Kannada as the medium of instruction and a pass in Higher Secondary Examination/ Equivalent along with T.T.C/ D.Ed/ D.El.Ed OR 10th standard with Kannada as first language and B.Ed./ B.T./ L.T./ T.T.C/ D.Ed/ D.El.Ed. along with a Degree with Kannada as the second language. OR A pass in Higher Secondary Examination with Kannada as second language and B.Ed./ B.T./ L.T./ T.T.C/ D.Ed/ D.El.Ed. along with a Degree with Kannada as the second language. OR A Degree with Kannada as second language and B.Ed./ B.T./ L.T./ T.T.C/ D.Ed/ D.El.Ed. in Kannada. 2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET Category II) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala.

(i) Candidates can apply online only by One Time Registration on www.keralapsc.gov.in. Applications submitted in any other manner will be summarily rejected. (ii) In the absence of suitable candidates, the vacancies set apart for Recruitment By Transfer shall be filled up by candidates from the Ranked List prepared for Direct recruitment. (iii) The applicant should be an approved probationer/ Full member of the Kerala General Education Subordinate Service as on the date of application (Five years service as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant/ Full Time Menial Employees in the General Education Department as on the date of application). [G.O.(MS)No.8/2009/G.Edn. dated. 20.01.2009, G.O.(MS)No.69/2021/G.Edn. Dated. 16.02.2021] (iv) A Ranked list will be prepared for Kasargod district in response to this notification. The Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Commission, shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year, subject to the condition that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new ranked list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised for appointment against the aforesaid vacancy and also against the vacancies, if any, reported during the currency of the list. (v) Candidates should submit the application for this post to Kasargod district where the aforesaid vacancy is existing and should note the name of the district in the relevant column of the online application. (vi) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS)No.154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O(MS)No.4/61/PD, dated 02.01.1961. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. (vii) The rules regarding the reservation of appointment contemplated in Rules 14 to 17 in Part II of the KS & SSR are not applicable to recruitment by transfer.
