Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among Ex-servicemen of Scheduled Tribes only ) Note :In case eligible Scheduled Tribe candidates, who are Ex servicemen, are not available for the vacancies reported from the NCC Department as per Government order G.O(Ms) No. 207/86/H.Edn. Dated 02.08.1986, applications of qualified Scheduled Tribe candidates other than Ex-serviceman will be accepted. Applications received from candidates other than Scheduled Tribe will be rejected. Individual communications regarding the rejection of their applications for the above reason will not be issued.

18-50. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1974 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Note :- In the case of non ex-servicemen Scheduled Tribe candidates, the upper age limit should not exceed 41 years.

(i) Should have passed Standard VII and should not have acquired any Degree. (ii) Should be an Ex-serviceman.

i. Rule 10 (a)(ii)of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to the qualification specified for the post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission. ii.Service in Border Security Force(BSF), Defence security Corps(DSC), Assam Rifles, General Reserve Engineering Force (GREF),Jammu and Kashmir Militia and Lok Sahayak Sewa will not be treated as Military Service as shown in G.O(P)No.399/77/GAD dated 26.11.1977. iii.Candidates possessing Military Graduation Certificate are eligible to apply for this post as per G.O(P)No.5/2018/P&ARD dated 19.04.2018. iv.The following personnel who have served in the Territorial Army will be considered as Ex-serviceman. a) Personnel of the Territorial Army, namely, pension holders for continuous embodied service or broken spell of qualifying service. b) Gallantry award winners of the Armed forces including personnel of Territorial Army. c) Ex-recruits boarded out or relieved on medical ground and granted medical disability pension. Those who produce an authentic document proving that they belong to anyone of the above three categories will be considered for selection. Probation: Every person appointed to a post in respect of this notification, shall be on probation for a total period of one year on duty within a continuous period of three years.
