Community: Scheduled Tribe, District: Kasargod, Vacancy: 6 (Six)

Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe community only).

18-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2004 (Both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.(Including para 2(i) of the general conditions.) Note : For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (Fifty) years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this Notification. (Except para 2(i)).

(A) A Bachelors Degree with Mathematics or Statistics as Main Subject and B.Ed/B.T in the concerned subjects conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. (B) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test(K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Link: https://www.keralapsc.gov.in/sites/default/files/inline-files/circular_12_18_1.pdf Note : The Degree/Diploma awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an act passed by Parliament/State Legislative Assembly in accordance with the conditions laid down in G.O(MS) No.526/PD dated 17.07.1965 are acceptable for appointment in Government Services. Exemption : 1. Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the respective subjects/M.ED in any subject are exempted from acquiring TET(G.O.(P)No.145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.16. G.O.(P)No.206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016 and G.O(P)No.15/2020/G.Edn. Dated 9.10.20. 2. As per the conditions laid down in Government Circular No.1866829/J3/2017 G.Edn.Dated 09.03.2018 those who passes CTET primary stage and CTET Elementary stage were excluded from KTET Cat.I & KTET Cat.II respectively. Also CTET qualification can't be considered as an alternative qualification for KTET Cat.III and Cat.IV.

(i) Candidates shall apply online only by One Time Registration to www.keralapsc.gov.in. Applications submitted in any other manner will be summarily rejected. (ii) Application submitted by candidates belonging to the community other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued (iii) A Ranked List will be prepared for Kasargod district in pursuance of this notification. Ranked List thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following district . (iv) Candidates belonging to above reservation community shall submit application for the post to the Kasargod district , where the vacancy is existing and should note the name of the district against the relevant column of the online application. (v) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS)No.154/71/PD,dated 27.5.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O.(Ms)No.4/61/PD, dated 2.1.1961. Candidates already in Government service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. (vi) M.Phil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognised as equivalent by any of the Universities in Kerala. (vii) Post Graduates in Mathematics/Statistics with B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject will also be considered for this post. (viii) Diploma in Rural Service awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education will also be treated as equivalent to Degree for the above purpose. (ix) The candidates who have acquired B.Sc Ed in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics stream conducted by the Regional Institute of Education, Mysore of NCERT are also eligible to apply for the post.[G.O(P)No.117/13/G.Ed dated 30.03.13] (x) The disciplines in which B.Sc/M.Sc and B.Ed/B.T Degree were obtained should be mentioned in the application form. (xi) If there is a written ( Descriptive/ OMR) test the question paper for the written test will be in Malayalam. The candidates should answer the questions in Malayalam. In case of OMR answer sheet answers are to be marked as instructed. (xii) Rule 10(a) ii of part II of KS&SSR is applicable for this post. (xiii) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualifications specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission. (xiv) SPECIAL CONCESSIONS REGARDING APPOINTMENT AND AGE LIMIT: Preference will be given as laid down in G.O.(MS) No. 50/70/PD dated 12.02.1970 and G.O.(MS) No. 9/78/G.Edn dated 21.01.1978 to the wives of Jawans in the matter of recruitment as Teachers, if they possess the prescribed qualifications. First Class Scouts and Guides will be given preference in the matter of appointment as Teachers (G.O(MS)No.122/75/G.Edn dated 27.05.1975, GO(MS) No:50/70/PD dtd 12/2/1970). Teachers of the Government Primary and Nursery Schools who are graduates and are otherwise qualified will be exempted from upper age limit(G.O.(Ms)No:185/70/Edn dated 18.04.1970 and G.O.(Ms) No:466/70/Edn dated 11.11.1970). (xv) Special Instructions to Candidates: In the case of difference in Caste/Community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC Book, the candidate shall produce a gazette notification in this regard, along with Non-creamy Layer certificate/Community certificate at the time of certificate verification. Candidates are required to acquaint themselves with the instructions given in the notification as Part II, General Conditions before submitting application for the post. Appropriate disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of the Kerala Public Service Commission Rules of Procedure 1976, shall be initiated against those candidates who submit applications with bogus claims of qualification regarding education, experience etc.
