Scheduled Caste - 32 (Thirty Two) Cat: No: 737/2014 Scheduled Tribe – 21 (Twenty One) Cat: No: 738/2014 OX – 13 (Thirteen) Cat: No: 739/2014

Direct Recruitment (Recruitment from candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe and OX communities only. But application of Scheduled Caste candidates will also be considered in the absence of Scheduled Caste and vice versa) Note : Applications of candidates belonging to other than communities mentioned in the notification will be summarily rejected. Individual rejection memo will not be sent to them.

OX Candidates 18-48. (Only candidates born between 02/01/1966 and 01/01/1996 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. The upper age limit mentioned above shall be raised up to 50 (Fifty) years of age in the case of candidates belonging to adult member, of Scheduled Caste and their children when such adult members are converted to Christianity (including relaxation in Para 2(i) of General Conditions. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Candidates 18-50. (Only candidates born between 02/01/1964 and 01/01/1996 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (including the relaxation as per para 2(i) of the General conditions)

(1) Pass in Standard VII or its equivalent examination. (2) Not less than three years experience in the Armed forces Viz. Army, Navy or Air Force. (3) Knowledge of Cycling (4) Physical Measurement 1) Height - 168 cms 2) Chest (Normal) – 81 cm Chest (Expanted) – 86 Cms.

(i) The number of candidates to be included in the Short List/Probability List of the above post will be decided as per the availability of admitted applications. (ii) The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked list published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked to the communities but remains unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of ranked list published on 17.02.2014 based on notification published in the Gazette dated 31.03.2011 as Category No. 31/2011. (iii) The Kerala Public Service Commission shall have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidate to the above post, if it is subsequently found that such advise was made under some mistake. On such cancellation the appointing authority shall terminate the service of candidate, provided that, the cancellation of advice for appointment by the Commission and subsequent termination of service of the candidate by the appointing authority shall be made within the period of probation or 240 days from the date of joining duty whichever is earlier. Note:- 1. The provisional hands working in the above concern will be given age relaxation to the extent of their provisional service put in subject to a maximum of five years from the upper age limit provided they are within the prescribed age limit on the date of their first appointment in the above concern. But the regular employees of the concern are not eligible for the above concession for further appointment. The provisional hands should obtain a certificate showing the period of their provisional service in the concern and shall produce the same as and when required by the commission. It would also be clearly specified in the certificate that they were not working in the regular service of the concern. (for other conditions regarding the age relaxations please see para 2 (ii), (iii), (iv), (vi) & (xii) of the General conditions) Note: 1) Physically Handicapped candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. 2) Rule 10 (a) ii of Part – II KS&SSR is applicable.
