18-36. Candidates should be born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included). Other backward communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. In any case, the upper age limit shall not exceed 50 (fifty) years (including all relaxations). See General Conditions (Paragraph 2) in Part II of the Gazette notification for special concessions.

(a) Must have passed 7th standard but should not have acquired a Degree. (b) Must have the ability to make horse shoes, nails, and to shoe horses, and to prepare hoofs of horses. (c) Experience in shoeing horses in Army or Civil.

(i) KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable for selection to this post. (ii) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, qualifications declared by the Government as equivalent to the prescribed educational qualification through executive orders will be accepted. Equivalent/higher qualification government orders should be produced when required by the Commission. (iii) The authenticity of experience certificates will be subject to verification and legal action will be taken against candidates who produce fake experience certificates. (iv) Candidates claiming experience qualification must obtain and upload the experience certificate in the prescribed format to be able to apply. However, candidates must produce the experience certificate when required by the Commission. (v) Candidates must use their Aadhaar card as identity proof in their profile. (vi) If a written test/OMR/online test is conducted, candidates must confirm their participation through their One Time Registration profile. Only those who confirm will be able to download the admission ticket in the last 15 days before the exam date. Failure to confirm will lead to unconditional rejection of the application. (vii) Candidates must read the General Conditions in Part II of the Gazette notification before applying. Applications contrary to general conditions will be rejected. (viii) False claims regarding educational qualification, experience, caste, age, etc., will lead to disqualification, debarment from PSC exams, cancellation of answer sheets, legal action, or dismissal from service if already appointed, as per Kerala Public Service Commission Rules of Procedure 1976 Rule 22.
