OX - 1 (One) The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked List published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the above vacancies earmarked for the OX Community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the ranked list published on 03.02.2012 for the post.

21-44. Only candidates born between 02.01.1970 and 01.01.1993 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the general condition) (For conditions regarding the other age relaxation please see Para 2 of part II of the General Condition)

1 Minimum general educational qualification of a pass in Standard X. 2 Diploma in Automobile Engineering (3 year course) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3 year course) awarded by the State Board of Technical Education. OR Any qualification in either of the above disciplines declared equivalent by the Central Government or State Government. 3 Working Experience of at least 1(one) year in a reputed (Govt. approved) automobile workshop which undertakes repairs of both light Motor Vehicles, Heavy Goods Vehicles and Heavy Passenger Motor Vehicle fitted with Petrol and Diesel Engines. (Please see Para 21 of the General Conditions) 4 Must hold a driving licence authorizing him to drive Motor Cycle, Heavy Goods Vehicles and heavy Passenger Motor Vehicles. 5 The candidates must be physically fit and shall possess the following minimum physical standards: (a) Height:- 165 cms for male candidates and 152 cms for female candidates. (b) Chest:- 81 cms with a minimum expansion of 5cms (applicable to male candidates only) Note:- For candidates belonging to Schedules Caste or Scheduled Tribe, the minimum height shall be 160 cms for male candidates and 150 cms for female candidates. (c ) Visual Standards :- Must possess the Visual Standard specified below without glasses. Right Eye Left Eye Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen 6/6 Snellen Near Vision 0.5 Snellen 0.5 Snellen

Note 1 :- (a) Each Eye must have a full field of Vision. (b) Colour blindness, Squint or any morbid condition of the eyes or lids of either eye shall be a disqualification for appointment. Note 2 :- Candidates should produce a Medical Certificate (Original) in the following format, obtained from a Medical Officer not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon specialized in Ophthalmology of a Govt. Hospital when the Commission intimates. Note:- Details regarding standards of vision should be clearly stated in the Certificate, as given above and vague statements such as “vision normal”, etc. will not be accepted. Specification for each eye should be stated separately. If the specifications are not as indicated above, the Officer issuing the Certificate should certify whether the candidate has got better standards of vision or worse standards of vision, as the case may be. Otherwise, the Certificate will not be accepted. Note 3 :- Physically Handicapped candidates shall not be eligible for applying the post. Note 4:- Experience should be the one acquired after the acquisition of the basic qualifications prescribed.
