19 - 47. Candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Other conditions regarding age relaxation are as per Part-2 of the General Conditions, except clause 2(i)).

1. SSLC or equivalent qualification. 2. (a) National Trade Certificate in the appropriate trade with three years experience in the trade after obtaining the certificate. OR (b) National Apprenticeship Certificate in the appropriate trade with one year experience after obtaining the certificate. OR (c) Diploma in the appropriate branch of Engineering from a Government or Government recognized Polytechnic or equivalent qualification.

1. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. 2. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, qualifications declared equivalent by the Government or the Commission as per executive orders or standing orders, and qualifications prescribed in the Special Rules, will be accepted. Candidates must produce Government orders regarding equivalent/higher qualifications at the time of verification if required by the Commission. 3. Candidates claiming experience must obtain an experience certificate in the prescribed format (containing certificate number, date, post name, period, issuing authority name, institution name, etc.) and upload the scanned image. Only then will the application be accepted. 4. The experience certificate will be subject to verification. Legal action will be taken against candidates who submit fake experience certificates. 5. Candidates must ensure that the caste/community mentioned in the application is the same as that in the SSLC book. If there is a difference, a Non-Creamy Layer Certificate/Caste Certificate along with a Gazette notification regarding the name change must be produced at the time of certificate verification. 6. Candidates must read the general conditions in Part II of the Gazette notification before applying. Applications contrary to general conditions will be rejected. 7. Candidates providing false information regarding education, experience, caste, age, etc., will be subject to disciplinary/legal action by the Kerala Public Service Commission as per Rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure, including debarment from applying, cancellation of exams, dismissal from service if already appointed, etc.
