22 – 50. Candidates must be born between 02.01.1973 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included). Other usual age relaxations are not applicable for this selection.

1. Post Graduate Degree in English with not less than 50% marks or its equivalent qualification. Must have completed the educational standards prescribed.

1. Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities only are eligible to apply. 2. Must have passed a Comprehensive Test in English conducted by UGC or State Government or any agency authorized by them. Preference will be given to candidates who have sufficient knowledge of Malayalam. 3. NET qualification is exempted for those who have obtained Ph.D in the relevant subject (G.O.(P)No.86/07/H.Edn dated 19.06.2007). 4. Only degrees from universities recognized by UGC will be considered. 5. Additional marks will be given for non-qualifying M.Phil (2 marks), Ph.D (4 marks), M.Phil & Ph.D (5 marks), and Post Doctoral Fellowship (2 marks). 6. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. 7. Candidates must produce Government orders regarding equivalent/higher qualifications when required by the Commission. 8. Probation: Two years of probation within a continuous service period of three years. 9. Candidates must upload a recent photograph taken within 6 months with name and date clearly recorded. 10. Aadhaar card must be provided as identity proof in the profile. 11. Candidates must provide confirmation for OMR/Online exams through their profile to get admission tickets. 12. Any false claims regarding qualifications or experience will lead to disciplinary action, including dismissal from service and debarment from future exams.
