(Link: https://www.keralapsc.gov.in/sites/default/files/inline-files/circular_12_18_1.pdf) Note: As per G.O(MS) No.526/65/PD dated 17.07.1965, degrees/diplomas awarded by Universities established or recognized by Parliament/State Legislature are acceptable for appointment in Government service. 2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption: 1. Candidates who have acquired CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the concerned subject or M.Ed qualification are exempted from the K-TET requirement (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. dated 30.08.2016, G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. dated 08.12.2016, G.O.(P)No.15/2020/G Edn dated 9.10.2020). 2. As per the circular 1866829/J3/2017/General Education dated 09.03.2018, CTET Primary Stage is not accepted for KTET Category I and CTET Elementary Stage is not accepted for KTET Category II. CTET is not accepted as a substitute for KTET Category III and IV. Notes: (i) M.Phil degree in the concerned subject must be from a recognized University in Kerala or recognized as equivalent by a University in Kerala. (ii) Employees of the General Education Department who entered service before 31.03.2012 as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attender/Binder are exempted from passing K-TET. (iii) Candidates with Post Graduate Degree in Mathematics/Statistics and B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject are eligible to apply. (iv) Rural Service Diploma awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education is considered equivalent to a degree. (v) Bsc.Ed in Physics-Chemistry-Mathematics stream from the Regional Institute of Education, Mysore, NCERT is eligible to apply (G.O.(P) No. 117/13/G Edn. Dated 30.3.2013). (vi) The optional subject studied for Degree/Post Graduate Degree and the subject in which B.Ed/BT was obtained must be recorded in the application. (vii) If there is a written (descriptive/OMR) test, the question paper will be in Malayalam. Answers must be written in Malayalam. (viii) KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a) ii is applicable to this post. 3) Must have completed not less than 5 years of service in the General Education Department as Clerk, Typist, Attender, Office Attender, Binder etc. as on the date of application.

1. Candidates must apply online through the official website www.keralapsc.gov.in after One Time Registration. Applications submitted otherwise will be rejected. 2. Appointment by transfer will be made from the rank list prepared for direct recruitment. 3. Candidates must be a Full Member or Approved Probationer in the Kerala General Education Subordinate Service on the date of application. 4. Separate rank lists will be prepared for each district. The validity of the rank list is minimum one year and maximum three years. If a new rank list is published after one year, the previous list will cease to be valid. 5. Selection is district-wise as per G.O (MS) No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A person appointed through this selection cannot be transferred to another district for five years from the date of joining. After five years, transfer is subject to G.O (MS) No.4/61/PD dated 02.01.1961. Candidates already in the same post in Government service in any district are not eligible to apply, but can apply for higher posts. 6. Candidates must apply to only one district. If a candidate applies to more than one district, all applications will be rejected. 7. Since this is an appointment by transfer, reservation rules under Part II of KS & SSR (Rules 14 to 17) are not applicable. 8. Service certificate in the prescribed format must be obtained from the Head of Office/Department and produced when required by the Commission. 9. Candidates must upload a photo taken after 31.12.2013 with name and date of photo clearly recorded at the bottom. The photo is valid for 10 years. New profiles must upload a photo taken within the last 6 months. 10. Candidates must confirm their participation for the exam through their profile to get the admission ticket. 11. False claims regarding qualifications or experience will lead to disciplinary action as per Kerala Public Service Commission Rules of Procedure 1976, Rule 22.
