18-39. Only candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post (including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions). Members belonging to Scheduled Caste who had converted to Christianity after attaining adulthood and their children are eligible for age relaxation upto 41 years. Such candidates should be born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2006 (Both dates included). Note: For concessions allowed in upper age limit subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this notification except para 2(i).

Note : Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to those candidates. (i) Candidates can apply online by One Time Registration on www.keralapsc.gov.in . Applications submitted in any other manner will be summarily rejected. (ii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for the above Districts for the above communities in pursuance of this notification. NCA Ranked Lists thus prepared and published by the Commission, shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the mother ranked list published for the post in the following districts. (iii) Candidates recruited by the Commission shall be appointed to the service provisionally and they shall undergo the Stockman training course/ Livestock Inspector training course. After the successful completion of training, their provisional appointment will be regularized from the date of first appointment treating their training period as regular service. Those who do not complete the course successfully in the first attempt shall be allowed 3 (Three) more chances to complete the course successfully. In the case of candidates who fail to complete the course successfully even in the fourth attempt, their provisional appointment shall be terminated and they shall be discharged from service. There shall be no re-ranking of candidates based on the marks secured by them during the training. (iv) Candidate selected will have to execute a bond in the prescribed form to serve the Government of Kerala for a minimum period of 5 years after the regular appointment. Those who leave the service in between or during training are liable to pay for the damage if any fixed by the Government. (v) Each trainee will have to produce a certificate (in original) of physical fitness from a Medical Officer not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon. Candidates should upload original Certificate in the prescribed format and produce the same as and when called for by the Commission. (vi) Candidates belonging to the above reservation communities shall submit applications for this post to the above districts where the vacancy is existing for the communities. Applications shall not be sent to more than one district. If applications are sent contrary to the above direction, and if he/she is selected his/her name will be removed from the Ranked Lists and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. (vii) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on Revenue District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(Ms) No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue District from the Ranked list prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes 5 years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former District. Even if transfer is allowed after 5 years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O.(P)No.36/91/P&ARD dated 02.12.1991. But as per G.O.(P) No.12/96/P&ARD dated 16.03.1996, the condition of 5 year service is not applicable for the transfer to the districts of Idukki, Wayanad and Kasaragod. This concession will be available only for getting transfer into these Districts, but not for getting transfer out of these Districts and this concession will be granted only once in the career of a Government Servant. Candidates already in Government service holding the same post in the same department in any one District are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. (i) Differently Abled persons are not eligible for appointment to the post. (ii) KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a) (ii) is applicable for selection to the post. (iii) All the qualifications for the post must have acquired before the last date of receipt of application. (iv) In addition to the qualification prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.
