By transfer from among the General Extension Officers, Extension Officers (Housing/ IRD) in the Rural Development Department

Maximum age limit is not applicable to By transfer recruitment.

(a) Essential: Graduation in any Discipline (b) Desirable: (i) Experience in organizational matters and public relations (ii) Ability to address public meetings, and (iii) Aptitude for canvassing and sales promotion

Note:(a) The experience prescribed as desirable qualification for direct recruitment/ by transfer shall be the one acquired after obtaining the basic academic or other qualifications prescribed for the post. Note:(b) KS&SSR Part-II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. Note:(c) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post in the Special Rules or found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualification is provided for in the rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent / higher qualifications shall be produced before the Commission as and when called for. Note:(d) The rules relating to reservation (KS & SSR Part II Rule 14-17) shall not apply to By Transfer recruitments.
