Applications are invited online only through “ONE TIME REGISTRATION” scheme from qualified candidates for appointment in the under mentioned post in Kerala Government Service.
22- 36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Usual relaxation in the upper age limit shall be allowed to candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes(For other conditions regarding age relaxation,see para 2 of Part II General Conditions of the Gazette Notification).
Qualifications
i) A Degree in Law conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala.
and
ii) Must be a member of the Bar and must have had not less than three years of active practice in Criminal Courts as on 1st January 2025.

Notes
Note: (i) Due to the non availability of DA (Multiple Disability, ASD(M), SLD, MI(40% to 70%)) candidates in the previous Ranked List of this post 2 vacancies were kept unfilled, as per section 34(2) of the Rights of persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. The Same will be filled up from the above DA Category from the Ranked List that will be published pursuant to this notification. If candidates are not available in the respective DA category, the vacancies will be filled up from other eligible DA categories as per section 34(2) of the above act. In the absence of DA categories, the vacancies will be filled up from General Category.
(ii) The Ranked list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies that may be reported to the Commission during the period of currency of this list.
(iii) 4% of the total vacancies reported for the post shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates with disabilities as specified vide GO(P)No.5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023.
(iv) Selection and appointment to this post will be subject to the final orders of Hon'ble Supreme Court in SLP(C)No: 18268/2025 dated 18.07.2025.
(v) Certificate of Enrollment issued by the Bar Council & Experience certificate of Three years active practice in Criminal Courts as on 1st January 2025, issued by a Judicial Officer not below the rank of a First Class Judicial Magistrate, should be produced (Format is given below as annexure).
(vi) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable.
