18-39, Candidates born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities are eligible for usual age relaxation. 1. Pass in 7th Standard or equivalent examination. 2. Proficiency in Shoe making (to be proved in a practical test). (i) KS & SSR Part II - Rule 10(a)ii is applicable. (ii) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of the Government as equivalent to a specified qualification, or those specified in the Special Rules, or those the Commission has deemed equivalent to the prescribed qualification, shall be accepted. Candidates must produce the Government order regarding equivalent/higher qualification when required by the Commission. (iii) Probation: Every person appointed to this post shall be on probation for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. (iv) Candidates should upload a photograph taken within 6 months of the date of application. The name of the candidate and the date of taking the photograph should be clearly printed at the bottom of the photograph. (v) Candidates should keep a soft copy/print out of the online application for future use. (vi) If a written/OMR/online test is conducted, candidates must submit confirmation through their One Time Registration profile. Only those who submit confirmation will be able to download the admission ticket. (vii) Candidates with Aadhar card should provide it as an identity document in their profile. (viii) If the caste/community mentioned in the application differs from that in the SSLC book, a Non-Creamy Layer Certificate/Caste Certificate along with a Gazette notification regarding the change of caste should be produced at the time of certificate verification. (ix) Candidates should read the General Conditions in Part II of the Gazette notification before applying. (x) Candidates who submit false claims regarding educational qualifications, experience, etc., will be liable for disciplinary action/debarment as per Rule 22 of the Kerala Public Service Commission Rules of Procedure.
