18-36. Candidates born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other backward communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. (For other conditions regarding age relaxation, see Part II, Para 2 of the General Conditions of the Gazette Notification.)

1. Pass in SSLC or equivalent qualification. 2. Must have passed the Kerala Government Technical Examination (Higher) in Tailoring, Embroidery, and Needle Work.

KS & SSR Part-II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, qualifications declared equivalent by Government orders or standing orders, and higher qualifications which have the prescribed basic qualification as a component, shall be accepted. Candidates must produce the Government order regarding equivalent/higher qualification when required by the Commission. Candidates must ensure that the details in their profile are correct before applying for each post. All correspondence with the Commission should be made by quoting the User ID. Applications submitted will be treated as provisional. No changes can be made to the application after the last date. Candidates should keep a soft copy/print out of the online application for future use. Print out of the application should be produced for correspondence with the Commission. If any discrepancy is found in the application, it will be rejected. Certificates to prove educational qualification, experience, caste, age, etc., should be produced when required by the Commission. Corrections made by the candidate in the profile after the last date will not be considered. If a written/OMR/online test is conducted, candidates must submit confirmation through their One Time Registration profile. Only those who submit confirmation will be able to download the admission ticket. Candidates who do not submit confirmation within the stipulated time will be rejected. Candidates with Aadhar card should provide it as an identity document in their profile. Candidates must produce the non-creamy layer certificate/caste certificate along with the Gazette notification regarding caste change if the caste/community mentioned in the application is different from that in the SSLC book. Candidates must read the general conditions in Part II of the Gazette notification before applying. If a candidate submits false claims regarding educational qualification, experience, etc., they will be debarred from appearing for any examination or selection by the Kerala Public Service Commission, their answer scripts or practical test products will be invalidated, and legal action will be taken against them.
