Age Limit

18-43. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2007 (Both dates included) (Including the age relaxation as per para 2 (i) of the General Conditions.) Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste Converted to Christian Community, who have converted to Christianity from SC after attaining 18 years and children of such parents are eligible for age relaxation upto 45 (Forty Five) years , ie; candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2007 are eligible to apply for this post (both dates included).

Qualifications

1. A Degree in the concerned subject and BEd/BT in the concerned subject both conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. 2. Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET Category III) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. 3. i. Must have passed SSLC/ Plus Two/ Pre-Degree with Kannada as I or II Language. OR ii. A pass in Degree or Post Graduation in Kannada Language. In the absence of the qualifications referred in (i) & (ii) above, its equivalent shall also be considered. [GO(P)No 166/16/GEdn dated 30.09.2016]

Notes

i. Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for Kasaragod District for the above communities in pursuance of this notification. ii. The Second NCA Notification is issued due to non-availability of qualified candidates belonging to the above communities after the issuance of the NCA notifications. iii. The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in GO (MS) No 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. iv. Candidates belonging to above reservation community shall submit application for the post to the above district, where the vacancy is existing and should note the name of the district against the relevant column of the online application. v. The selection to this post is subject to the final judgement of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in SLP(C) Nos. 14935-14936 of 2022, 25190/2022,17666-17667 of 2022 and 28496/2023. vi. Must have graduated with Physics/Chemistry as main subject and also Chemistry/Physics as subsidiary subject [GO(MS)No 58/2019/GEdn dated 06.06.2019, GO(MS)No 73/2019/ GEdn dated 26.06.2019]. vii. Rule 10(a) ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable for this post.
