Part Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic) LPS

District wise Community: Scheduled Tribe Thrissur: 1 (One) (4th NCA) Malappuram: 1 (One) (5th NCA) Wayanad: 1 (One) (5th NCA)

Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe communities only). In the absence of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe community, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste will also be considered. Note : Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the community other than that notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to such candidates.

18-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (Including the relaxation as per para 2(i) of General Conditions). Note :- For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (fifty) years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this Notification except para 2 (i).

1. A pass in Higher Secondary Examination with Arabic as an optional subject or as second language. OR A pass in Afzal-Al-Ulama preliminary examination. OR A pass in the Pre Degree examination with Arabic as an optional subject. OR A pass in the SSLC examination from Arabic Oriental School or from academic school with Arabic as First Language conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala and a pass in Higher Secondary examination. OR A pass in Higher Secondary examination and a pass in Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR A pass in Higher Secondary Examination and Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Arabic language conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. AND A pass in the 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (Arabic), in short D.El.Ed (Arabic), examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. Note:- Qualifications noted as Item 2 below are applicable to those candidates who have acquired those qualifications or gained admission to the respective (Item-2) qualifying courses on or before 07.03.2019. Those who have gained admission to Item-2 qualifying courses from 08.03.2019 to 09.06.2024 will be considered only if they possess D.El.Ed qualification in Arabic as on the last date of receipt of application. 2. A degree in Arabic conferred or recognised by the Universities in Kerala. OR A title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognised by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Pass in Pre-degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University. OR A pass in Plus two Part III Arabic (optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala. OR A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and Part II First Language. OR A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent and any one of the following qualifications. (i) A pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala (ii) A pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala (iii) A pass in Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala (iv) A pass in Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala/Calicut Universities. Note : In addition to the above qualifications, as per G.O (MS) 8/19/G.Edn dated 14.01.2019 BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognised by Universities in Kerala will also be considered as a qualification for the above said post. 3. Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test-IV (K-TET-IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala (Generally applicable for candidates who apply under 7(1) and 7(2) above).

i) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for the above districts in pursuance of this notification. NCA Ranked Lists thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, which remains unfilled due to paucity of candidates for selection from the Ranked List published for the post on the following date. ii) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O. (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List so prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if, transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the orders contained in G.O(MS) No. 4/61/PD, dated 02.1.1961. But as per G.O.(P) No. 12/96/P&ARD dated 16.03.1996 the condition of five years service is not applicable for transfer to the districts Idukki, Wayanad and Kasaragod. The concession will be available only for getting transfer to these districts but not for getting transfer out of these districts. And these concession will be granted only once in the career of a Govt. Servant. iii) Candidates should submit application for the post to any one of the above mentioned districts, where the vacancy is existing for the respective community and should note the name of that district against the relevant column of the online application. Exemption: (i) Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the respective subjects or M.Ed are exempted from acquiring KTET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.16, G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016). (ii) As per G.O.(P) No. 6/2024/GEDN dated 01.02.2024 CTET (Primary stage & Elementary stage) will not be considered against KTET Category III and IV. (iii) Candidates who have acquired KTET Category III are exempted from acquiring KTET Category IV [G.O. (Ms) No. 109/22/GEDN dated 24.06.2022]. (1) As per G.O (P) No 15/2020/G.Edn dated 09.10.2020, M.Ed which is prescribed as a substitute qualification for KTET need not be subject specific. (2) M.Phil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognised as equivalent by any of the Universities in Kerala. (3) Candidates should possess the minimum general educational qualification for the post viz, A pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala (G.O (MS) No. 232/2009/G.Edn. Dated 30.11.2009). (This clause is applicable only for those applying with qualifications specified as 7(2)). (4) Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable for this post.
