Recruitment by Transfer (District wise) By transfer from among the eligible Boat lascar, Boat Cleaners and Boat Watchers in the Kerala Forest Department who have been declared to be an approved probationer.

(a) SSLC or its equivalent examination recognised by Government of India or Government of Kerala. Note: i)Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. (ii) Candidates who claim equivalent qualification shall produce the relevant Government order to prove the claim at the time of One Time Verification or as required by the Commission. (b) All candidates must have a valid motor driving license issued by a competent authority to drive motor boat and must have experience for not less than three years as Boat Driver. (c) All candidates must have basic knowledge in motor boat engine mechanism and the ability to carry out minor repairs. (d) All candidates must be able to swim. (e) Physical fitness. (i) Height: Minimum 168 cms Chest (Normal): Minimum 81 cms Chest expansion: Minimum 5 cms (ii) All the candidates must qualify in any of the Five events out of the Eight events specified below of the National Physical Efficiency one star standard test. (iii)All candidates must possess medical standards as prescribed.

1. Women candidates and Differently Abled candidates are not eligible to apply for the post. 2. The name, age limit and qualifications of this post has been prescribed as per the GO (P) No.84/2014/F&WLD dated 20.09.2014 (SRO No 574/2014) and GO (P) No.2/2016/F&WLD dated 17.02.2016 (SRO No 199/2016). 3. A Ranked List will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification. 4. Candidates are prohibited from applying to more than one district in response to the notification. 5. Quota reserved for the Direct Recruitment shall be 70% and that of by transfer recruitment shall be 30%. 6. The principles of rules of reservation and rotation prescribed in rule 14 to 17 of Part II of the KS & SSR 1958 will not apply for this notification. 7. If required number of candidates are not available in the ranked lists prepared for appointment by transfer, such vacancies shall be filled up from the ranked lists prepared for respective districts under direct recruitment. 8. Candidates must register as per ‘ONE TIME REGISTRATION’ with the official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission (www.keralapsc.gov.in) before applying for the post. 9. No application fee is required. 10. Appropriate Disciplinary action as per Rules of procedure Rule 22 will be initiated against those candidates who submit applications with bogus claims of qualification.
